Cressona Mall is a shopping mall in Pottsville, Pennsylvania off Route 61 and Route 183. [1]
Cressona Mall opened on October 2, 1973, with Hills as its anchor. [2] Laneco had plans to open a store at the mall in early 1982, using the former Grant's space. [9] Due to the store being sold, Acme was rebranded Insalacos in January 1995. [10] Laneco closed at the mall in March 1995. [11] [12] Hills expanded its store and Staples opened at the mall in 1996. [12] The Surgery Center of Pottsville opened in 2006. [4] The Cressona Mall in 2007-2008 received exterior renovations. [7] [13] Alvernia University opened a satellite campus in 2009, using former office and store space. [14] [15] [16] CVS Pharmacy moved out of the mall in October 2010. [17] Goodwill opened in February 2014, using the former CVS Pharmacy space. [18] In February 2015, the primary sprinkler water pipe broke during cold weather. [19]
Due to an unpaid court judgement over the renovations, Wells Fargo foreclosed on the mall in 2015. [20] [21] Cressona Associates, the malls owners, owed $8,797,305.81 on the original $9.9 million mortgage. The malls manager and Dack Realty, who managed the mall, both left before the property's auction. [22] Cressona Mall was sold on October 15, 2015, at a United States Marshals auction for $9,281,842.21 to Wells Fargo. Cinderella's Closet opened at the mall in 2018 after being previously located at the former Schuylkill Mall. [29] [30] Cressona Mall was sold to Cressona Realty LLC (55%), Cressona CH LLC (40%), and Cressona Nassim LLC (5%) for $8,050,000 in November 2019. [31] Namdar Realty Group was later named in several articles as the primary owner. [4] [32] Cressona Mall was again sold in November 2021 for $16 million to America's Realty. [4] [5] [32] The Surgery Center of Pottsville closed in June 2022. [4] Repaving of the parking out occurred at the Cressona Mall in late 2022. Cressona is a borough in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Formed in 1857 from part of North Manheim Township, it was founded by and named for John Chapman Cresson, a Philadelphia civil engineer and manager of the Schuylkill Navigation Company, president of the Mine Hill and Schuylkill Haven Railroad, and the chief engineer of Fairmount Park in Philadelphia.

Everett Mall is a 673,000-square-foot (62,500 m2) indoor/outdoor shopping mall located in Everett, Washington, United States. Planned in the late 1960s, the mall began with the construction of two anchor stores, Sears in 1969 and White Front in 1971; the mall was originally built and opened in 1974. It was plagued from the start of development: construction was stalled in 1972 due to the Boeing bust, and it suffered further misfortune with one anchor store closing before the rest of the mall could open. The mall also had a low tenant rate upon opening, only rebounding after The Bon Marché opened in 1977; the success led to the construction of an additional north wing to the mall anchored by the upscale Frederick & Nelson department store. In 2004, the mall underwent a massive expansion and renovation that included the addition of a 16-screen movie theater and outdoor stores along the south side. The mall's anchor stores are Regal Cinemas, LA Fitness, Burlington, Best Buy, PetSmart, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Floor & Decor, Ulta Beauty, Party City, and Trader Joe's There are two vacant anchor stores that were the old location of Ulta, and Sears, which will become At Home in Late 2024.

Bristol Mall was the only regional shopping mall serving Bristol, Virginia. It opened in 1975. Former anchors included Sears, Belk, JCPenney, and a movie theater. With Bristol being the home of country music, long before Knoxville or Nashville, for many years there had been a museum at the mall, showcasing the legacy this left to the area.
Swansea Mall was a regional shopping mall located in Swansea, Massachusetts. It served the Southeastern Massachusetts area. Located off Exit 3 of I-195, the building is situated at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and Massachusetts Route 118, on Swansea Mall Drive. It had three out-parcel buildings: a Walmart building behind the mall, a former Toys "R" Us, a shared PriceRite and Dollar Tree. The Swansea Crossings shopping plaza is across the street, and contains a Big Lots and a Tractor Supply Company. The mall closed permanently on March 31, 2019. It was purchased by Anagnost Companies in May 2019 at auction.
Laurel Mall is a shopping mall which opened in 1973 just northwest of Hazleton, Pennsylvania, United States. It features three current anchor stores, Boscov's, Dunham's Sports with one anchor jointly occupied by Planet Fitness and Hobby Lobby; TJ Maxx is a junior anchor. 10-theater Regal Cinemas and Aldi are outparcels. The mall is managed by Lexington Realty.
Schuylkill Mall was an 800,000 sq ft (74,000 m2) shopping mall located in Frackville, Pennsylvania. Built in 1980 by Crown American, the mall originally featured Kmart, Hess's, and Sears as its anchor stores; later additions to the mall included Pomeroy's and Phar-Mor. In its day, it was one of the largest shopping malls in the state of Pennsylvania.

Columbia Colonnade was a shopping mall located just outside Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. It was anchored by EFO Furniture, Planet Fitness, Dunham's Sports, MVP Clubhouse, and a VA Clinic. The mall was next to Interstate 80 and PA 42. It also served the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, as well as several surrounding communities, such as Bloomsburg and Buckhorn, Pennsylvania.
