Halsbury's Laws of England is a uniquely comprehensive encyclopaedia of law, and provides the only complete narrative statement of law in England and Wales. It has an alphabetised title scheme covering all areas of law, drawing on authorities including Acts of Parliament of the United Kingdom, Measures of the Welsh Assembly, UK case law and European law. It is written by or in consultation with experts in the relevant field.
Glanville Llewelyn Williams was a Welsh legal scholar who was the Rouse Ball Professor of English Law at the University of Cambridge from 1968 to 1978 and the Quain Professor of Jurisprudence at University College, London, from 1945 to 1955. The phrase is also commonly used to describe a University degrees such as Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice, also known as Criminal Justice or Criminology, Law and Society which can be prerequisites for a job in law enforcement or government. It is similar to Legal Management and Paralegal Studies education.
