Cristian-Paul Ichim (born 8 May 1975) is a Romanian politician of the Justice and Respect in Europe for All Party. In the 2020 parliamentary election,he was elected member of the Chamber of Deputies. [1] He was a member of the Save Romania Union until 2022,when he switched to Renewing Romania's European Project. [2] Since 2024,he has been a member of the Justice and Respect in Europe for All Party. [3]
The Social Democratic Party is the largest political party in Romania. It is also the largest social democratic political party in the country. It was founded by Ion Iliescu,Romania's first democratically elected president at the 1990 Romanian general election. It is currently part of the National Coalition for Romania (CNR),which is a big tent grand coalition comprising also the National Liberal Party (PNL). The CNR formerly included the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR/RMDSZ) until mid June 2023.

The Save Romania Union is a liberal political party in Romania that sits on the centre to centre-right of the political spectrum. It is currently the third largest party in the Parliament of Romania with 41 deputies and 20 senators,and a fifth at local level nationwide,after the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR/RMDSZ) and the People's Movement Party (PMP),two smaller centre-right political parties in the country.

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians is a right-wing populist and nationalist political party active in Romania and Moldova. It was founded on 19 September 2019 ahead of the 2020 Romanian local and legislative elections. The party president is George Simion. The party ran in the local elections,not obtaining many votes and only winning in three towns. However,in the legislative elections,the AUR won 9% of the votes in all of Romania and its diaspora,thus becoming the fourth-largest party in the country at the central level,which surprised observers.

Presidential elections were held in Romania on 24 November 2024. A second round was to be held on 8 December 2024,as no candidate achieved an absolute majority in the first round. However,on 6 December 2024,the Constitutional Court of Romania annulled the results of the first round of the election,claiming a "Russian-style" influence operation impacted the vote. They will be the ninth presidential elections held in post-revolution Romania. As the Romanian Constitution allows a president to be re-elected only once,the incumbent,Klaus Iohannis,first elected in 2014 and then re-elected in 2019,will conclude his second and last term in December 2024.

Renewing Romania's European Project is a political party in Romania. It is a splinter of the Save Romania Union (USR) and is currently led by DragoșPîslaru and Ramona Strugariu as co-presidents. The party was founded in May 2022,in opposition to USR's leadership under Cătălin Drulă. The party is mostly associated with former technocratic Prime Minister and former USR president Dacian Cioloș,who founded the party. On 7 May 2023,Pîslaru and Strugariu were voted co-presidents at the latest congress of the party.

Daniel-Liviu Toda is a Romanian politician of the Justice and Respect in Europe for All Party. Since 2020,he has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies. He was previously a member of the Freedom,Unity and Solidarity Party,the Save Romania Union and Renewing Romania's European Project,and joined the Justice and Respect in Europe for All Party in 2024.
Ion-Marian Lazăr is a Romanian politician of the Justice and Respect in Europe for All Party. In the 2020 parliamentary election,he was elected member of the Chamber of Deputies,representing the Save Romania Union. In the 2024 local elections,he was the candidate of the Save Romania Union for mayor of Râmnicu Vâlcea. Since September 2024,he has been a member of the Justice and Respect in Europe for All Party.
Andrei-Răzvan Lupu is a Romanian politician of Renewing Romania's European Project. Since 2020,he has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies. He was elected as a member of the Freedom,Unity and Solidarity Party,and became a member of the Save Romania Union when the parties merged. He switched to the newly founded Renewing Romania's European Project in 2022. In the 2024 European Parliament election,he was a candidate for member of the European Parliament.
