It was the successor of the pre-War Stratton Quartet. The quartet adopted its new name in 1944 and disbanded in 1981.

The Sacconi Quartet is a UK-based classical music string quartet founded in 2001 by four graduates of the Royal College of Music, London, UK. The Quartet is named for the outstanding twentieth-century Italian violin maker and restorer Simone Sacconi, whose book The Secrets of Stradivari is considered an indispensable reference for violin makers.

Several works have been composed especially for her. She is also a principal teacher for historical and modern clarinet at the Royal Conservatory Antwerp. She lives in Berlin.
The aron quartet is a string quartet ensemble which was founded in 1998 by Ludwig Müller, Barna Kobori, Georg Hamann and Christophe Pantillon, four musicians working in Vienna. Their artistic careers have been decisively influenced by the members of the Alban Berg Quartet as well as by Ernst Kovacic and Heinrich Schiff. Further decisive impulses for her musical career came from Isaac Stern, Max Rostal, William Primrose, Mischa Maisky, Ralph Kirshbaum and Sandor Végh.
