Crobot is an American hard rock band from Pottsville, Pennsylvania, composed of Brandon Yeagley, Chris Bishop, Dan Ryan and Tim Peugh.
In the mid-2011, Brandon Yeagley and Chris Bishop created Crobot, joined later by brothers Paul and Jake Figueroa, who previously performed similar styles of music in another band. [1] In 2012 the band's original lineup self-released their debut EP, The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer, along with a music video for the eponymous first single. Later that year, the rhythm section of the band was revamped with the addition of the Figueroa brothers on bass and drums. The Figueroa brothers departed from the band early 2017 and were replaced by Dan Ryan on drums and James Alexander Lascu on bass in June 2017.
In 2013, Crobot was discovered by Wind-up Records, and was officially signed in December. [2] [3] On May 13, 2014, they released their self-titled EP, produced by Machine (Clutch, Lamb of God, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes). The EP featured four tracks from their upcoming full-length album and received positive reviews. [4] [5] Their first single and video for "Nowhere to Hide" debuted on Revolver on May 14, 2014 [6] and hit number 16 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. In May, Crobot was added to the 2014 lineup for Taco Bell's Feed the Beat campaign. [7]
In 2014, the band toured with Chevelle, Clutch, The Sword, Truckfighters, KYNG, Kill Devil Hill, in addition to playing festivals such as SXSW, Rock on the Range, and Summerfest. [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] They embarked on their first UK tour in September 2014, with The Virginmarys. [13] Crobot performed at the "ShipRocked" music festival at sea [14] from February 2–6 with Limp Bizkit, Black Label Society, Buckcherry, and fellow Wind-Up Records band Filter. The band then headed to Europe for a stint with Black Label Society and Anthrax before returning to the U.S. in April for a tour starting in Denver. At the end of September 2015 Crobot performed again at sea as part of the Motorhead's Motorboat line-up. [15] They also supported Motorhead and Anthrax on a few warm-up dates prior to the Motorboat in September 2015. On June 8, 2016, Crobot released their new single "Not for Sale" taken from their second studio album Welcome to Fat City, released September 23. [16]
In November 2018, Crobot signed with Mascot Records [17] leading up to the release of their newest album Motherbrain in August 2019.
In February 2019, Crobot entered the studio in Atlanta with Corey Lowery of Seether who produced, mixed and engineered Motherbrain. Lowery also contributed playing bass. The album was released on August 23, 2019, and achieved a #6 position in the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. [18] The first single from Motherbrain, "Low Life", achieved a #10 position on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart in February 2020. [19]
In 2021, the band released their Rat Child EP. The four-track project features Steel Panther's Stix Zadina, Light the Torch’s Howard Jones, and bassist Frank Bello of Anthrax. [20]
On March 10, 2022, the band announced their new album Feel This, alongside the lead single "Better Times." The album was released on June 3, 2022. [21]
On July 12, 2023 the band released a recording of Janet Jackson’s "Black Cat". [22]
Crobot describes their music as "Dirty. Groove. Rock.", and has been compared to hard rock bands like Wolfmother, Queens of the Stone Age, Rage Against the Machine and Soundgarden. [23] [24] Frontman Brandon Yeagley has been praised for his power packed vocals and dynamic stage presence, guiding the band's "undeniably magnetizing live shows." [25]

Motörhead were an English rock band formed in London in 1975 by bassist and lead vocalist Lemmy Kilmister, guitarist Larry Wallis and drummer Lucas Fox. Lemmy was also the primary songwriter and only constant member. The band are often considered a precursor to the new wave of British heavy metal, which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Though several guitarists and drummers have played in Motörhead, most of their best-selling albums and singles feature drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor and guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke.
Anthrax is an American thrash metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands to emerge from the East Coast. The band's current lineup consists of Scott Ian, drummer Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello, vocalist Joey Belladonna and lead guitarist Jonathan Donais. Anthrax's lineup has changed numerous times over their career, leaving Ian as the only constant member of the band. Ian and Benante are the only two members to appear on all of Anthrax's albums, while Bello has been a member of Anthrax since 1984, replacing Lilker.
Among the Living is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Anthrax. It was released on March 16, 1987, by Megaforce Records in the US and by Island Records in the rest of the world. The album is dedicated to Cliff Burton of Metallica, who died in a bus accident six months before its release while Metallica were on tour with Anthrax as the opening act.
Suicidal Tendencies is an American crossover thrash band formed in 1980 in Venice in Los Angeles, California, by vocalist Mike Muir. Muir is the only remaining original member of the band. Along with D.R.I., Corrosion of Conformity, and Stormtroopers of Death, the band is often credited as one of "the fathers of crossover thrash". Their current lineup includes Muir, guitarists Dean Pleasants and Ben Weinman, bassist Tye Trujillo and drummer Greyson Nekrutman. We've Come for You All is the ninth studio album by American heavy metal band Anthrax. It was released on May 6, 2003 through Nuclear Blast in Europe and Sanctuary Records in North America. This was the first Anthrax record to feature Rob Caggiano on lead guitar and their last studio album with John Bush on vocals. The album was recorded over a one-year span at the BearTracks Recording Studio in Suffern, New York. The cover art was designed by comic book artist Alex Ross, while the production was handled by Scrap 60 Productions team. The Who vocalist Roger Daltrey and Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell made guest appearances on the album.
"Overkill" is a song by English rock band Motörhead. It was released in 7" and 12" vinyl pressings in 1979. It is backed with B-side "Too Late Too Late" which appears on the CD re-issues of the Overkill album. Early copies came with an "Overkill" badge. The single reached number 39 on the UK Singles Chart.
Volbeat are a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2001. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal, and rockabilly. Their current line-up consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Michael Poulsen, drummer Jon Larsen, and bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen. The band is signed to Dutch label Mascot Records and has released eight studio albums and one DVD. Their second album Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil received platinum status, and their 2010 release Beyond Hell/Above Heaven was subject to widespread international critical acclaim, receiving triple platinum in Denmark and Austria, double platinum in Sweden, platinum in Canada, 5x Gold in Germany, and gold in Finland and the United States. Volbeat's seventh album, Rewind, Replay, Rebound, was released on 2 August 2019. Their eighth album, Servant of the Mind, was released on 3 December 2021.

Nile is an American technical death metal band from Greenville, South Carolina formed in 1993. Since 2017, their formation consists of Karl Sanders, George Kollias (drums), Brad Parris, and Brian Kingsland. In 1995, they followed up with Festivals of Atonement, an EP released through their own Anubis Records label. In 1996, Ramses Bringer of War was released, a three-track demo with the title inspired by Gustav Holst's classical work "Mars, Bringer of War". The following year, the Ramses demo was re-released by Visceral Productions on EP format.
Company of Thieves were an American indie rock band from Chicago, Illinois, founded by Genevieve Schatz (vocals) and Marc Walloch (guitar). Their first album, Ordinary Riches, was released independently in 2007 and re-released in 2009. Their second album, Running from a Gamble, was released in 2011. The band announced they had no plans to record any new music as of January 2014, but announced a reunion in May 2017.
Corey French Lowery is an American musician, songwriter, record producer and engineer. He is the guitarist and backing vocalist for South African rock band Seether, and a former member of Saint Asonia, Stuck Mojo, Stereomud, Eye Empire, and Dark New Day. He is the brother of Clint Lowery.
Dark Roots of Earth is the eleventh studio album by American thrash metal band Testament. It was released on July 27, 2012, in Europe, and four days later in North America by independent German record label Nuclear Blast Records. The album is available in three configurations, CD, CD/DVD and vinyl, with the latter two versions including four bonus tracks. The album was produced by Andy Sneap, who mixed and engineered the band's previous three studio releases, The Gathering (1999), First Strike Still Deadly (2001), and The Formation of Damnation (2008). The album artwork was created by Eliran Kantor. A music video was made for the track "Native Blood". Dark Roots of Earth entered the Billboard 200 at number 12, Testament's highest position ever.
Aftershock is the 21st studio album by British rock band Motörhead. Originally expected to be released in mid-2013, it was released separately on 18 October in Germany, on 21 October in the rest of Europe, and on 22 October in North America and the rest of the world. It is the fourth album released under the UDR GmbH / Motörhead Music collaboration, with ADA as the distributor for the first time.

Earth Rocker is the first studio album to be released by Clutch since Strange Cousins from the West in 2009. The album was produced by Machine, who also produced the band's 2004 album Blast Tyrant.
We as Human was an American Christian rock band originally from Sandpoint, Idaho, United States, formed in 2001. They were discovered by John Cooper, lead singer of the band Skillet, in 2010 who introduced them to Atlantic Records, their current label. They moved to Nashville, Tennessee in September 2011, where they resided until they disbanded. They have played shows with Avenged Sevenfold, Skillet, Korn, Alter Bridge, Papa Roach, and Shinedown. Their music has been accepted in both the Christian and mainstream rock markets.
"The Negative One" is a song by American heavy metal band Slipknot. Released on August 1, 2014, it was the band's first new song since the death of bassist Paul Gray in 2010 and the 2013 firing of drummer Joey Jordison. An accompanying music video premiered on Slipknot's official website on August 5, 2014; however, no band members were featured. Vocalist Corey Taylor told BBC Radio 1 that he saw the song as more of a "gift to the fans" than a regular single though it was still released as a digital single on iTunes and many other digital music retailers.
Edge of Paradise is an American rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California, United States, in 2011. The band currently consists of Margarita Monet (vocals/keys), Dave Bates (guitars), David Ruiz (guitars), Jamie Moreno (drums) and Kenny Lockwood (bass). The band is known for its heavy guitars complemented by industrial and classical influences, as well as Monet's large vocal range. In 2012, Monet was featured in Metalholic’s "Top 25 Women in Hard Rock and Metal."
Welcome to Fat City is the second studio album by Pennsylvania rock band Crobot, it is the last album to feature brothers Jake & Paul Figuero. It was Released 23 September 2016. They started recording the record in January 2016 with record producer Machine in Texas. They announced the album in June 2016 with the first official single "Not for Sale". They have since then released 3 song including title track "Welcome to Fat City", "Plague of the Mammoths" and new single "Play It Cool".
Metal Allegiance is an American heavy metal supergroup formed on Long Island, New York, in 2014 by bassist and songwriter Mark Menghi. Shortly after, he recruited bassist David Ellefson, guitarist Alex Skolnick, and drummer Mike Portnoy. Though the group does not have an official lead singer, they usually hire guest musicians to contribute vocals and/or guitar parts to their studio recordings and live shows, including Andreas Kisser of Sepultura and Mark Osegueda of Death Angel. To date, Metal Allegiance has released two studio albums and one EP.

The Motörhead 40th Anniversary Tour was a concert tour performed by the English heavy metal band in celebration of their 40th anniversary, as well as in support of their 22nd and final studio album, Bad Magic. It would be the band's final tour before the death of Lemmy on 28 December 2015.
