Crying Macho Man is an online comic strip created by Jose Cabrera and updated weekly on his official website. Making its online debut in August 2005, the comic is best known for its satirical views on politics, the media, popular culture, and Latin machismo. A compilation of the series was released in 2007. History

Cabrera's first venture into comics was the semi-autobiographical series JOSE: Life According to Jose Cabrera, followed by a series of strips entitled The Adventures of Abusive Stepfather. [4] Although not directly related, the comic's absurd humor directly influenced the development of Crying Macho Man. A compilation of the original series was released in 2007, entitled The Premiere Crying Macho Man Collection: Prime Cut. [5] [6] A second book, You So Loco!, was released in May 2008. [7] [8]

Granma is a yacht that was used to transport 82 fighters of the Cuban Revolution from Mexico to Cuba in November 1956 to overthrow the regime of Fulgencio Batista. The 60-foot diesel-powered cabin cruiser was built in 1943 by Wheeler Shipbuilding of Brooklyn, New York, as a light armored target practice boat, US Navy C-1994, and modified postwar to accommodate 12 people. The Che Guevara Mausoleum is a memorial in Santa Clara, Cuba, located in "Plaza Che Guevara".
