Aviron Bay is natural bay on the island of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The Friar, a castellated rock, is located between Aviron Bay and Cul-de-sac bay.
Sandy Cove is a town located on the Eastport Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is located on Newman Sound, which is part of Bonavista Bay. It had a population of 120 in the 2021 census.
Fortune Bay is a fairly large natural bay located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence on the south coast of Newfoundland, Canada. The Bay is bounded by Point Crewe on the Burin Peninsula and Pass Island at the entrance to Hermitage Bay to the northwest for a distance of 56 kilometers. The bay extends in a northeast direction for 105 kilometers ending at Terrenceville.
Facheux Bay was the location of a small fishing settlement of the same name. In 1901 it had a population of 47. The community was also called Fachier, Facheaux, and Fouche. Facheux Bay is a deep fjord that separates Eastern Head and Western Head of Hermitage Bay, Newfoundland, Canada. Facheux bay is 2.25 miles (3.62 km) west of Mosquito Cove. The entrance is between two steep falls in high hills. The bay runs in 6.5 miles (10.5 km), with an average width of 0.75 miles (1.21 km), and has deep water throughout. On the west side are three coves with anchorage in 20 to 10 fathoms.
Rencontre West was a village located northeast of Ramea, Newfoundland and Labrador. The population was 186 in 1956, but the community has since been resettled.
Bartlett's Harbour is a local service district and designated place in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador that is northeast of Pointe Riche on the island of Newfoundland. There was a lobster packing establishment and the Reid-Newfoundland Steamers called weekly by 1911. The village became a Canadian Post Office in 1949, on April 1. It was served by the C.N.R Express after June 1953. It had a population of 50 in 1911, 57 by 1940, 106 in 1951 and 146 in 1956.

Pushthrough is a resettled fishing community located on Newfoundland and Labrador's south coast, about 20 km northwest of Hermitage. Permanent settlement at Pushthrough happened in 1814, when George Chambers moved there from Gaultois to establish a fishing room and later a store. The community lost population to Gaultois in the 1950s and to Head of Bay d'Espoir in the 1960s. In 1968, virtually all the families with school aged children moved, effectively leading to the downfall of the community.
