Justin Chatwin is a Canadian actor. He began his career in 2001 with a brief appearance in the musical comedy Josie and the Pussycats. Following his breakthrough role as Robbie Ferrier in the blockbuster War of the Worlds (2005), Chatwin headlined studio films such as The Invisible (2007) and Dragonball Evolution (2009), an action-adventure feature based on the manga series Dragon Ball. In the 2010s, Chatwin acted in small independent films. Pledge is a 2018 American horror film, written by Zack Weiner, directed by Daniel Robbins, and produced by Mark Rapaport and Keaton Heinrichs. The film centers on collegiate hazing taken to extremes. It had its world premiere at the 2018 Fantasia International Film Festival, and was released in theaters and on VOD on January 11, 2019, through IFC Midnight.
Secret Headquarters is a 2022 American superhero comedy film directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, who co-wrote the movie with Christopher L. Yost and Josh Koenigsberg, based on a story by Yost. Starring Owen Wilson, Walker Scobell, Jesse Williams, Keith L. Williams, Momona Tamada, Charles Melton, and Michael Peña, the plot follows a child (Scobell) and his friends who begins to suspect his father (Wilson) might be a superhero after discovering a secret headquarters in his basement.

The Hyperborean is a Canadian comedy horror science fiction film, directed by Jesse Thomas Cook and released in 2023. The film centres on the wealthy owner of a whisky distillery company who summons his family to help recover a case of whisky that the company lost over 100 years ago when the ship foundered in the Canadian Arctic, but unwittingly unleash an ice mummy because a dead sailor's body was preserved in one of the whisky barrels.
Jesse Thomas Cook is a Canadian director and producer of horror films. Based in Collingwood, Ontario, in 2018 he and his wife Liv Collins cofounded the Collingwood Film Co. to produce independent horror films in the Simcoe County region of Ontario, working with almost entirely local performers and artisans.
