Mixed doubles curling at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics was held from January 20 to 22 at the Innsbruck Exhibition Centre in Innsbruck, Austria.
The teams consisted of athletes from the mixed team tournament, one male and one female from different NOCs. [1] The teams were selected by the organizing committee based on the final ranking from the mixed team competition in a way that balanced out the teams, and were assigned on January 19. The players in each pair were then allowed time to train together. [2]

The 2011 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held at the Saint Paul Curling Club in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States from April 15 to 24, 2011. The event was held in conjunction with the 2011 World Senior Curling Championships.
The 2012 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held at the Milli Piyango Curling Arena in Erzurum, Turkey from April 23 to 29. Erzurum previously hosted the 2011 Winter Universiade, during which the Milli Piyango Curling Arena was used for the curling competition. Among the previous hosts of the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships, Turkey is the nation with the least experience in curling; its curling federation joined the World Curling Federation in 2009. For the first time since 2009, the event was not held in conjunction with the same year's World Senior Championships.
Mixed team curling at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics was held from January 14 to 18 at the Innsbruck Exhibition Centre in Innsbruck, Austria.
The 2013 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 13 to 20 at the newly constructed Grant-Harvey Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The event was held in conjunction with the 2013 World Senior Curling Championships. This event marked the first time that Canada has hosted a World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship since its inception in 2008.
Mixed doubles curling at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics was held from February 19 to 21 at Kristins Hall in Lillehammer, Norway.
Switzerland competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from 9 to 25 February 2018, with 166 competitors in 14 sports. They won 15 medals in total, ranking 7th in the medal table.

The 2018 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Olympic Trials, also known as the Canad Inns Canadian Mixed Doubles Trials, were held from January 2 to 7 at the Stride Place in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The winners of this event represented Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The 2019 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held in Stavanger, Norway from April 20 to 27, 2019. The event was held in conjunction with the 2019 World Senior Curling Championships. A record forty-eight nations competed in the event, including Kosovo, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine competing in their first World Curling Federation events.
Sweden competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, from 4 to 20 February 2022.
Mixed doubles curling at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics was held from 18 to 22 January at the Palladium de Champéry in Champéry, Switzerland.
The 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from May 17 to 23 in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The 2021 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from May 19 to 23, 2021 at the Wausau Curling Club in Wausau, Wisconsin. The championship featured twenty four teams split into four pools of six. After the round robin, the top two teams from each pool qualified for the playoffs with the first place teams advancing to the seeding round.
Italy competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, from 4 to 20 February 2022. With Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo being the host of the 2026 Winter Olympics, an Italian segment was performed at the closing ceremony.
The Olympic qualification event is an international curling tournament that was held from 5–18 December 2021 in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.
The 2022 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Olympic Trials, also known as the Canad Inns Canadian Mixed Doubles Trials, was scheduled to be held from December 28, 2021, to January 2, 2022, at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The winners of this event were to represent Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics. On December 26, 2021, it was announced that the event would be cancelled due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada.
The mixed doubles curling tournament of the 2022 Winter Olympics was held at the Beijing National Aquatics Center from 2 to 8 February 2022. Ten nations competed in a round robin preliminary round, and the top four nations at the conclusion of the round robin qualified for the medal round. This will be the second time mixed doubles is held at the Winter Olympics.
Italy is scheduled to compete at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, South Korea, from 19 January to 1 February 2024. This will be Italy's fourth appearance at the Winter Youth Olympic Games, having competed at every Games since the inaugural edition in 2012.
Nigeria is scheduled to compete at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, South Korea, from January 19 to February 1, 2024. This will be Nigeria's debut appearance at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.
Mixed doubles curling at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics was held from January 26 to February 1 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea.
