Cvlt Ov The Svn (also known as COTS or the more conventional spelling Cult of the Sun) is a Finnish metal band combining black metal with pop-music and supernatural themes, often described as occult rock.
Cvlt Ov The Svn call their music genre "Occult Murder Pop" and have remained anonymous due to being "musicians of renown in Finland". [1] Cvlt Ov The Svn are signed with Napalm Records [2] and debuted with the single The Murderer in 2018 followed by another single Whore Of Babylon in the same year. They released their debut full-length album in 2021 titled We Are The Dragon, which obtained mediocre reviews with 3 out of 5 stars from both Soundi [3] and Inferno. [4]
The nameless leader of the band has mentioned thematic influence by movies such as The Exorcist and The Ninth Gate, as well musical inspiration by bands such as Type O Negative, Marilyn Manson, Turbonegro, Ghost, Pantera, Backyard Babies, and even Roxette, and that his musical background stems from being a black metal drummer. Stone is a Finnish thrash metal band formed in Kerava in 1985. They released four albums and one live album during the late 1980s and early 1990s, before disbanding in 1992 to pursue different musical directions. Stone reunited to play a final set of concerts in 2000, but parted ways again soon afterwards. In 2008, Stone made five "reunion"/comeback appearances. They reunited again in March 2013 for select shows in order to promote their new box set. The band has remained active since then, and they have new material in the works.

Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, commonly shortened to Tuska, is a Finnish heavy metal festival taking place annually in Helsinki. The first Tuska took place in 1998 and the festival has since grown larger every year. The location of the festival has been in Kaisaniemi park in the middle of the city from 2001. However, since 2011, Tuska has taken place at the Suvilahti event field in the Kalasatama neighbourhood of the Sörnäinen district. The festival dates have always been in either June or July.

Archgoat is a Finnish black metal band formed in 1989 by twin brothers Ritual Butcherer on guitar and Lord Angelslayer on bass and vocals. It was one of Finland's first black metal bands along with Barathrum, Impaled Nazarene and Beherit. The members of Archgoat openly identify with the philosophy of Satanism and the occult as expressed in their lyrical content, which also consists of anti-Christian themes.
Sauli Vuoti is Finnish musician and chemist. He is the vocalist and guitarist of the band Kinetik Control, founded in the beginning of the ongoing millennium and also band called Auringon Lapset. He has written most of the music and lyrics for Kinetik Control. His lyrics mostly deal with the superficiality and selfishness of modern-day humans and human relationships. Prior to Kinetik Control he was more closely associated with extreme metal.

OvO is an Italian noise rock duo formed by Stefania Pedretti and Bruno Dorella in 2000 in Ravenna, Italy. The two initially planned for the band to be totally improvisation-based with an open lineup. After encouragement from members of their local music scene to become a band and tour, they decided to do so in order to play with Cock ESP, an extreme noise band from Minneapolis. Since, the pair have released eight full-length albums on a variety of international record labels including Load Records, Dio Drone, Bar La Muerte, and Supernatural Cat, among others. The origin of the band's name, OvO, stems from using a piece of the Italian word "nuovo", or new, which creates a palindrome. Decibel Magazine summarizes OvO's 2016 album, Creatura, as "making rhythmic, layered, sludgy noise" and a "David Lynch dance party". The duo has toured extensively across the world, playing over 1000 shows in varied locations including Europe, Asia, North America, and Mexico.
Mr. Peter Hayden is a Finnish alternative metal band often filed under post-metal, space rock or psychedelic doom. The band was formed in Kankaanpää, Finland in 2000. On their fourth album, Eternal Hayden, the band began to refer to themselves just by their logo, the PH-monogram, leading to confusion what the band should be called. Since then all variations from Mr. Peter Hayden to PH have been used, including ENPHIN after release of their sixth album End Cut in 2022. The group is also part of the Wastement collective.
