Daniel McLay British road cyclist

Daniel "Dan" McLay is a British racing cyclist, competing in road, track and cyclo-cross, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Arkéa–Samsic. His first season as a professional was 2015, racing for French pro-continental and 2014 Tour de France wildcard outfit Bretagne–Séché Environnement. Primarily a sprinter, McLay is also competent in the Flemish racing scene and has a particular affinity to the Northern Classics. He was named in the start list for the 2016 Tour de France.

George Atkins (cyclist) British racing cyclist

George Richard Atkins is a British former track and road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2014 and 2016. He was a member of British Cycling's Olympic Development Programme. In 2009 he won the junior race at the British National Road Race Championships. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games he won the silver medal in the track points race. After the Commonwealth Games Atkins took a break from the sport but returned in the summer of 2011.

Carlos Alzate Colombian cyclist

Carlos Eduardo Alzate Escobar is a Colombian professional track and road racing cyclist from Colombia, who most recently rode for the GW–Shimano team. He won a silver medal for his native country at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil alongside Juan Pablo Forero, Arles Castro and Jairo Pérez in the Men's Track Team Pursuit. He competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, PR China.

Australian National Criterium Championships National road cycling championship in Australia

The Australian National Criterium Championships cover several different categories of Australian road bicycle racing events, normally held annually. The elite event is normally held in the December the preceding year, for example the 2009 championships were held on 14 December 2008, and the 2008 championships were held on 2 December 2007. Occasionally the event will be held in January and under 23 events combined with the elite race. Each year the championships are held in a different location, often incorporated in other annual criterium events.

Jon Mould

Jonathan "Jon" Mould is a Welsh racing cyclist from Newport. Mould is a member of British Cycling's Olympic Academy Programme which he joined in 2010.

Team BikeExchange is an Australian professional road race cycling team. Launched in January 2011, it competes at UCI WorldTeam level. The team was formed under the management of Andrew Ryan and Shayne Bannan, with Neil Stephens and Matt White as Sporting Directors. The team ride Bianchi, and wear Giordana Cycling clothing and Scott eyewear. The team has financial backing from Australian businessman Gerry Ryan who owns Jayco Australia.

Robert Crowe

Robert Colville Crowe, OAM is an Australian Champion Cyclist who competed in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and as Kieran Modra's pilot in the 2004 Athens Paralympics. He also directs the popular indoor cycling engine-training school at Ridewiser in Melbourne, Australia.

Amy Cure Australian cyclist

Amy Louise Cure is an Australian former professional track cyclist. She cycles for Team Jayco-AIS. She has set several world records. She won a junior world championship race in 2009, and represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She is the first person in history to medal at every endurance track event at world championship level; with three newly gained medals in the team pursuit, omnium, and madison at 2017 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Hong Kong.

Audrey Cordon-Ragot is a French road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Trek–Segafredo.

Leah Kirchmann Canadian cyclist

Leah Kirchmann is a Canadian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Team DSM. She competed in the 2013 UCI women's road race in Florence. At the 2014 Global Relay Canadian Road Championships, held in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, she won the road race, time trial and the criterium, becoming the first woman to win all three titles in the same year.

Peta Mullens Australian cyclist

Peta Mullens is an Australian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Roxsolt Liv SRAM in road cycling, and Focus Attaquer in the mountain biking and cyclo-cross disciplines of the sport. She is a former Australian road cycling, MTB and cyclo-cross champion.

2016 World University Cycling Championship

The 2016 World University Cycling Championship was the 7th edition of the World University Cycling Championship. The tournament was hosted by the Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (FESSAP), sponsored by the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The championship proper took place in Tagaytay, Philippines from March 17–20, 2016 with the opening ceremonies held on March 16. It is the first FISU World University Cycling Championship to be held outside of Europe and the first in Asia.

The 2016 national road cycling championships began in Australia with the time trial event on 7 January, as is tradition.
