Cynthia A. Darlow (born June 13, 1949) is an American actress.
Darlow graduated from Hampton High School in 1967 and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 1970.
For five seasons, Darlow was an ensemble player and announcer on the children's educational series Square One Television . On television, she has made numerous appearances in three of the different Law & Order series, and guest starred on Soul Man and The Sopranos . In 1990, she played the part of Marge in Sesame Street Home Video Visits the Firehouse. In 2017, Darlow began playing the recurring role of Mrs. Moskowitz on the Amazon Prime comedy-drama series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel . [1]
Her film credits include The Thomas Crown Affair (1999), Lost Souls (2000) and 25th Hour (2002).
Darlow has many on- and off-Broadway credits, including Grease , Prelude to a Kiss , Rumors , Taller Than a Dwarf and Trouble in Paradise . Darlow is a member of the New York-based Actors Company Theatre (TACT).

It takes place mainly in the late 1950s and early 1960s, with flashforwards to later decades in the final season, and stars Rachel Brosnahan as Miriam "Midge" Maisel: a New York housewife who discovers she has a talent for stand-up comedy and pursues a career in this field. It also stars Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, Marin Hinkle, Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, Jane Lynch and Luke Kirby. The pilot episode received critical acclaim and the series was picked up by Amazon Studios. The fifth and final season premiered on April 14, 2023, and concluded on May 26, 2023.

Cindy Tolan is an American casting director and producer. Her career began in theatre, before she transitioned to television and film. She was awarded a BAFTA for her work as casting director of West Side Story in 2021. For the film she auditioned 30,000 people in order to create an authentic cast with performers of Latin descent. She is credited with the discovery of Rachel Zegler and for encouraging Ariana DeBose to audition. In 2019 she was nominated for two Black Reel Awards for different films, competing with herself in the Best Ensemble category for If Beale Street Could Talk and Sorry to Bother You. In 2018 she awarded an Emmy for her work on The Marvelous Mrs Maisel: Tolan was part of a team who cast the first season, but subsequently was the sole casting director for seasons two and three. After studying acting at Brown University she started her professional career on stage in numerous off-broadway productions including the Public Theatre production of Hamlet in 2008. In 2013, she was nominated for the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play for her performance as Natalie in Finks by Joe Gilford. She made her Broadway debut in the Ayad Akhtar play Junk in 2016. She returned to Broadway in the 2023 revival of the Lorraine Hansberry play The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window portraying Mavis Bryson for which she received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
