D.D.E. is a Norwegian pop/rock group founded in Namsos in 1992. The members were previously in a band called After Dark.

D.D.E.'s music is heavily influenced by traditional Norwegian folk music and rock, resulting in a unique sound that has garnered a dedicated following in Norway. The band has released over 15 albums since their debut in 1992, with their most popular songs including "E6", "Rai Rai" and "Det går likar no".
D.D.E. has won several awards throughout their career, including the Spellemannprisen (Norwegian Grammy) for best group in 1998 and 2000, and they have also been nominated for the award numerous times. Kent was a Swedish alternative rock band formed in Eskilstuna in 1990. With members Joakim Berg, Martin Sköld, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen, the band had numerous radio hits throughout Sweden and Scandinavia and consecutive number-one studio albums on the Sweden top list (Sverigetopplistan) beginning with the release of Verkligen (1996) and led by the single "Kräm ". With origins rooted in distorted rock, they found mainstream success through their alternative rock albums of the mid-1990s, 2000s and 2010s, the latter decades during which they adopted elements of synthpop.
Giant is an American melodic rock band that was formed in 1987. The band originally consisted of founding members Dann Huff and Alan Pasqua (keyboard), and had Dann's brother David Huff on drums and Mike Brignardello on bass. The Huff brothers were part of the founding members of the Christian rock band White Heart.

Bjarne Arnstein Brøndbo is the vocalist and the front figure in the Norwegian rock group D.D.E. since the start in 1992. Brøndbo has previously played in the bands Humanic (1978–1985) and After Dark (1984–1991). He is the brother of drummer Eskil Brøndbo and the cousin of the Electronica musician Rune "Sternklang" Brøndbo.
