Kristo Laanti, professionally known as DJ Kridlokk, Khid, Krid or DJ Kridmanne, is a Finnish rapper and record producer. [1] His career took off in 2005 when he released an album Maanalaisella saundilla with a fellow rapper Lommo. [2] On 18 May 2011 he released a solo album UG-Solo which peaked at number 23 on the Official Finnish Album Chart. [3] [4] [5] [6] His 2014 album Mutsi reached number two. [3] [4] [5] [6]

In addition to his solo work, DJ Kridlokk is also a member of the group Kylmä, and has appeared as a featured artist on several songs by such rappers as Eevil Stöö, Koksukoo and Tuuttimörkö. [7]

Qstock is an annual two-day music festival held at the end of July in Oulu, Finland. The festival lineup includes some of the biggest names in both the domestic and international music scene, regardless of the genre. The first Qstock festival was organised in 2003. The festival has quickly grown into the biggest summer event in northern Finland, with 40,000 visitors. As of July 2023, Qstock has been sold out nine times in a row. The festival acts as sort of a successor of the former Kuusrock festival which was organised in Oulu from the 1970s until the early 1990s.

The Teosto Prize is an annual award presented since 2003 by the Finnish Composers' Copyright Society, Teosto, to promote Finnish creative music by highlighting bold, original, and innovative works. The prize can be awarded up to 4 works or collections of works, with a monetary value of €40,000. If there is only one recipient, the prize amounts to €25,000. The recipient is selected by a three-member jury appointed by Teosto, from a shortlist of nominees chosen by a preliminary panel. In 2010 and 2021, the prize was not awarded.
