Plot

Ram Sinha owns a restaurant in which women are not allowed. Ram is a women hater and he also wants his brothers Lakhan, Bharat and Shatrughan to also hate and avoid women, but the brothers don't think the same way as Ram does think. So, whenever Ram is not around them, they try to do something for fun, which turns out to be disaster and creates a hilarious situation.

Qayamat is a 1983 Indian Hindi action crime film directed by Raj N. Sippy. It is an Indian version of the 1962 Hollywood film Cape Fear. The film stars Dharmendra as a man who goes to jail and holds his police officer friend responsible for the jailing. On his return after a long sentence he sets about taking revenge, targeting the officer and his family. Jaya Prada appears in flashbacks as Dharmendra's wife. The film was remade in Telugu as Nippulanti Manishi with Nandamuri Balakrishna. The famous song from the film Guide, Aaj Phir Jine ki Tamanna Hai was reused in this film.

The film has music composed by Madan Mohan and lyrics written by Kaifi Azmi. This movie features the unforgettable evergreen songs by Mohammed Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar under music direction of Madan Mohan, which turned out to be chartbusters. The most famous song in this film is "Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho". The other song is a qawwali, "Yeh Mana Meri Jaan" whose tune has been remade numerous times. Madan Mohan produced one of the best works of his life for this feature film. "Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho" was adjudged the third best hindi film song ever by a jury of eminent musicians for an Outlook magazine poll. The song is still a rage among youngsters and lovebirds. This movie collected Rs.72000 at capital cinema, which was a record back then and was declared a hit at the box office.
