The Dacia Manifesto is an all-wheel drive electric buggy concept with high ground clearance, officially presented by Dacia on September 16, 2022. [5]

Before that, the concept was briefly shown on September 14, 2022 in a teaser published by Dacia Romania on their Facebook page. [6] It was also present at the 2022 Paris Motor Show alongside the rest of the refreshed range. [7]

Overview

The model bears the brand's new emblem, which is here illuminated. [8] The body is made from a recycled plastic called Starkle and has no doors, side windows or windshield. [9] The vehicle, including the interior, are 100% waterproof. [10] The concept will not become a production model and, as the representatives of the company say, it is a "laboratory for the implementation of the newest ideas". [11]

The Dacia 1310 is a family of automobiles produced and sold exclusively by Dacia between 1979 and the beginning of 1999, and from 1999 to 2006 jointly by the French manufacturer Renault and its Romanian subsidiary Dacia. In 1979, Dacia presented the 1310 model at the Bucharest Auto Show as the successor of the Dacia 1300. Together with the Dacia 1300, a total of 2,278,691 units were produced, the last sedan being manufactured on July 21, 2004, and the last pick-up truck in December 2006. In the same year, its successor, the Dacia Logan, was launched.

Gheorghe Barbu was a Romanian footballer who played as a forward and midfielder. After he ended his playing career he worked as a manager, mainly at teams from the Romanian lower leagues, with a short spell in the first league at Universitatea Cluj. Barbu died in his sleep on 31 October 2021 at age 53.
