Dag Ole Thomassen (born 28 June 1986) is a retired Norwegian football goalkeeper. He started and ended his senior career in Pors Grenland, intermittently playing first-tier football for Odd Grenland. [1]

Odds Ballklubb, commonly known as Odd, is a Norwegian professional football club from Skien. Originally the football section of a multi-sports club, founded in 1894 nine years after the club's founding. Most sports other than football and gymnastics were discontinued and the club became dedicated primarily to football. Grenland is a traditional district in the county of Vestfold og Telemark, in the south-east of Norway. Sometimes the municipalities Kragerø and Drangedal of the smaller Vestmar region are also considered to be part of the area. The region encompasses 1,794 km2 and has 122,978 inhabitants (2004), which translates as 12% of the area and 64% of the population of Telemark.

The 1996 Tippeligaen was the 52nd completed season of top division football in Norway. Each team played 26 games with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Number twelve, thirteen and fourteen are relegated. The winners of the two groups of the first division are promoted, as well as the winner of a play-off match between the two second placed teams in the two groups of the first division. This was the last time the first division was organized into two groups – from 1997 and onwards the first division has had all teams play in the same league.

The 2006 Tippeligaen was the 62nd completed season of top division football in Norway. The season began on April 9, 2006 and ended on November 5, 2006. Rosenborg became champions on October 29, with one round to go, by defeating Viking at home. The other main contenders for the title were Brann and Lillestrøm, the former securing their place as runners-up on the same day.

Hendrik Alexander van Es Aas, known as Alexander Aas, is a retired Norwegian football defender. Aas spent most of his career playing for Odd Grenland, before moving to Denmark for a two-year spell with Odense. In 2007, he was brought back to Norwegian football by Strømsgodset, where he was club captain until his retirement at the end of the 2012 season. Aas was capped by Norway eight times, scoring one goal.
