Dagens man (English: Man of the day) is a Swedish dating show on TV4 Plus hosted by model and actress Carolina Gynning. [1] The show is based on Taken Out [2] which has been broadcast in Australia, Holland, Spain, Finland, Denmark and Norway. [1] [2] In the studio there are 20 ladies who meets a man at the time and has to decide if they want to continue playing for a chance at a date with the single man. [1] At the second stage of the show the man tells more about himself and still the ladies can reject him at any time. [2] In the third and last stage the man has to ask questions to the ladies and choose one for a date later that day which is follow by cameras. [2] The first two seasons was filmed at the same time in 2009 and broadcast between 2009 and 2010.

Carolina Gynning Nilsson is a Swedish glamour model, author, podcaster, actress, jewelry designer and television presenter. She started her career as a model at age sixteen. She was a participant in the Swedish version of Big Brother in 2004 and emerged as the winner of that season. Gynning has since made a career as a television presenter on TV4 and Kanal5, and also as an artist and author of several books. Gynning has participated in several television shows after Big Brother such as I huvudet på Gynning and as a celebrity dancer in season one of Let's Dance.

Idol 2009 was the sixth season of the Swedish idol series and was broadcast by TV 4. The jury, identical to the previous year, consisted of Anders Bagge, Laila Bagge and Andreas Carlsson. Peter Jihde, the show's host, was also a continuation of the previous year's cast. The audition cities visited during the spring of 2009 were Gothenburg, Gävle, Malmö, Stockholm and Umeå, respectively. Around 11,000 people applied for Idol 2009, establishing a new Swedish record.

Solsidan is a Swedish television comedy series that premiered on 29 January 2010 on TV4. The series is named after a small part of Saltsjöbaden called Solsidan. It revolves around Alex and Anna who are expecting their first child together and have just moved to Alex's childhood home in Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm County. Alex tries to get Anna to enjoy herself, and at the same time spend time with his childhood friend Fredde. Ten episodes were scheduled to air in the first season. A second ten-episode season premiered on 16 January 2011.

Kristin Kaspersen is a Swedish-Norwegian television host who is working for the Swedish media company TV4 Group, which is the owner of the television channel TV4. Kaspersen began her television career in the early 1990s after completing an internship on one of Robert Aschberg's programs. Talang Sverige 2014 was the sixth season of Talang Sverige, the Swedish version of Got Talent, as well as the show's first season under the name "Talang Sverige". It was broadcast between February 24, 2014, and May 18, 2014. It was the first season aired on TV3. June 19, 2013, following a two-year hiatus, TV3 announced that they had acquired the rights for the show and would broadcast the show in 2014. The show took place in larger arenas than previous seasons, allowing things like motor vehicles and bigger animals on the stage. Joik singer Jon Henrik Fjällgren was declared winner and walked away with 1 million SEK.
