Dagens man (English: Man of the day) is a Swedish dating show on TV4 Plus hosted by model and actress Carolina Gynning. [1] The show is based on Taken Out [2] which has been broadcast in Australia, Holland, Spain, Finland, Denmark and Norway. [1] [2] In the studio there are 20 ladies who meets a man at the time and has to decide if they want to continue playing for a chance at a date with the single man. [1] At the second stage of the show the man tells more about himself and still the ladies can reject him at any time. [2] In the third and last stage the man has to ask questions to the ladies and choose one for a date later that day which is follow by cameras. [2] The first two seasons was filmed at the same time in 2009 and broadcast between 2009 and 2010.

TV4 (Sweden)

TV4 is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the Bonnier Broadcasting Group. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. From 2004 to 2019, the TV4 Group was a fully active member of the European Broadcasting Union.

TNT was a commercial television channel in Sweden. The channel was launched by the tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet as Aftonbladet TV7 on 9 October 2006. Aftonbladet sold the channel in late 2007. In August 2008, it was sold once again and is since owned by NonStop Television. On 2 March 2011 the channel was relaunched as TNT7, following Turner Broadcasting System's purchase of Millennium Media Group, the owner of NonStop Television. The channel is now called TNT since the seven was dropped from the name on 21 March 2012.

Carolina Gynning

Carolina Gynning Nilsson is a Swedish glamour model, actor, author, jewelry designer and television presenter. She started her career as a model at age sixteen. She entered the Big Brother house in 2004 and emerged as the winner of that season. Gynning has since made a career as a television presenter on TV4 and Kanal5, and also as an artist and author of several books. Gynning has participated in several television shows after Big Brother such as I huvudet på Gynning, and as a celebrity dancer in season one of Let's Dance.

Förkväll was a Swedish daily talk show that started airing in 2006 on TV4. The show lasted until January 2011 before it was cancelled.

Carina Berg

Carina Lilly Berg Luuk is a Swedish comedian and television presenter. Berg grew up in Åkersberga, studied the aesthetics program at Danderyds gymnasium and then went on to study radio at Kaggeholms folkhögskola. She used to be married to and has son with Kristian Luuk, who she met in 2005 when they shared presenter duties for the TV4 show God natt, Sverige, Berg's television debut. Along with Christine Meltzer she won a Kristallen-award in 2015 for "Best female television presenter". Berg is since December 2018 married to footballer Erik Berg.

Talang Sverige 2014 was the sixth season of Talang Sverige, the Swedish version of Got Talent, as well as the show's first season under the name "Talang Sverige". It was broadcast between February 24, 2014 and May 18, 2014. It was the first season aired on TV3. June 19, 2013, following a two-year hiatus, TV3 announced that they had acquired the rights for the show and would broadcast the show in 2014. The show took place in larger arenas than previous seasons, allowing things like motor vehicles and bigger animals on the stage. Joik singer Jon Henrik Fjällgren was declared winner and walked away with 1 million SEK.

Nour El-Refai is a Swedish actress and comedian. She became known for her participation in the candid-camera show Raj Raj in 2007 and hosted Melodifestivalen 2014. El-Refai has also appeared in several movies such as Kronjuvelerna and Johan Falk: Spelets regler.
