Dagoll Dagom is a Catalan theatre company founded in 1974, mostly dedicated to musical theater. They have performed around 5,000 times in Europe and South America. Dagoll Dagom have also created television series and released soundtrack albums. In 2015 they received the Joan Coromines Prize. [1]
TV3 is the primary television channel of Catalan public broadcaster Televisió de Catalunya, a subsidiary of the CCMA. TV3 broadcasts programmes only in Catalan and Aranese, with an optional dual track in the original language for some foreign-language series and movies, although Spanish is not dubbed or subtitled. TV3 is also a founding member of FORTA.

Joan-Lluís Lluís is a Catalan writer. His works include five novels and a collection of essays entitled Conversa amb el meu gos sobre França i els francesos. This last work, which Lluís himself describes as a pamphlet, focuses on the precarious linguistic situation of the Catalans under French administration.
Sebastià Juan Arbó was a Spanish novelist and playwright. He wrote in Catalan and Spanish. He was born in Sant Carles de la Ràpita on 27 October 1902 and died in Barcelona on 3 January 1984. His work includes novels, drama, biographies and translations. He was an honorary member of the Association of Writers in the Catalan Language. In 1948, he won the Premio Nadal.
José Rubianes Alegret, better known as Pepe Rubianes was a Galician actor and theater director, born in Galicia and brought up in Catalonia, specializing in mime, imitation and monologues. He was known for his irony, his sharp sense of humor and verbal torrents sprinkled with swear words, and rigorously dressing in black clothes when acting in dramatic scenes. He defined himself as a "Galician-Catalan actor: Galician because I was born in Galicia although I hardly ever lived there, and Catalan because I have always lived in Catalonia although I was never born here."
Jordi de Manuel i Barrabín teaches Natural Sciences and is also a writer who combines literature with teaching and research. He is a member of the SCCFF.
Eduard Toldrà Soler was a Spanish Catalan composer and conductor.
Jaume Sisa is a Spanish singer-songwriter, who defines himself as 'Galactic', and whose greatist hit was Qualsevol nit pot sortir el sol from his eponymous album, released in 1975. Songs such as Nit de Sant Joan, El setè cel and L'home dibuixat are also well-known and remembered in the Catalan linguistic area.
Gerard Quintana i Rodeja is a Catalan singer, songwriter, poet, novelist, actor, and radio and TV personality. He first came to prominence in 1986-2001 as the lead singer of the rock band Sopa de Cabra. Sopa de Cabra was one of the leading bands of the rock català genre. Since the dissolution of the band in 2001, Quintana has pursued a successful solo career. As a singer-songwriter, he completed five albums between 2003 and 2010, together with three in collaboration with Jordi Batiste, and a recent album (2014) with Xarim Aresté. He also writes and publishes poetry, and has written regularly as a journalist for online Catalan newspapers and journals. He appeared in the short film Diogenes, the dog. Since the publication of his first novel in 2019 he is also establishing himself as a serious novelist.
The Premi d'Honor de les Lletres Catalanes is an award instituted by Omnium Cultural since 1969 to recognize a person by their scientific or literary work, written in Catalan language, the importance of their work and his/her significant contribution to cultural life of the Catalan Countries.

Josep Coll i Martí, better known as Pep Coll, is a Spanish writer. A prolific author, he has cultivated all literary genres, including journalism. His life and literary world are the Pyrenees, which have become a legendary universe. His works have been translated into several languages, including Spanish and Basque. In addition to his work as a writer, he has been teacher of language and literature.
Miquel Obiols is a Spanish writer. He was born in Roda de Ter. He went to university to study pharmacy but finished with a degree in Romance languages. He is best known for his work for children and young adults. In 1977, he published ¡Ai, Filomena, Filomena! He was one of the creators of the first Catalan TV program for children called Terra d’escudella and since then has continued to develop other shows for TV, such as Planeta Imaginari and Juego de Niños. He has also worked in the theatre; La Nit de Sant Joan de Dagoll Dagom was a stage adaptation of his book A l’inrevés.
Txarango was a Spanish (Catalan) band formed in Barcelona in 2010. Their members are musicians from the Catalan counties of Ripollès, Osona and Garrotxa. Nowadays, the band is composed of Alguer Miquel (voice), Marcel Lázara, a.k.a. Tito, Sergi Carbonell, a.k.a. Hipi (keyboard), Joaquim Canals (drums), Àlex Pujols, Pau Puig (percussion), Ivan López (saxophone) and Jordi Barnola (trumpet). They propose a musical fusion, taking Reggae as the mainstay, influenced by Dubstep, Latin music or Pop, and mixing Jamaican music, Rock and Latin sonorities. The band's early albums build upon a circus clown motif.

His work, written in Catalan and Spanish mix with other traditional elements of avant-garde and science fiction that endow great originality. Natural Stories is his best known work.

The Mercè Rodoreda Award for stories and narrations, officially and in Catalan Premi Mercè Rodoreda is a literary award in the Catalan language convened by Òmnium Cultural and the Fundació Enciclopèdia Catalana and published by Edicions Proa. Initially called the Víctor Català Award, which was awarded for the first time in 1953, in 1998 it changed its name to become the current Mercè Rodoreda Award for stories and narratives.
