Dakun Paper Mill was established on Odense River in 1874. The first paper was manufactured on 12 November 1874 but a stable production of paper was not established until 1875. In 1889-1989, it was part of De Forenede Papirfabrikker (United Paper Mills). In 1990-1999, Dalum Paper Factory was owned by the Swedish paper manufacturer Stora. In 1999-2007, it was owned by a group of Danish investors. In 2008, it was acquired by the French company Arjwiggins. The factory closed in 2012. [1]
In 2020, C. F. Møller Architects and Niras created a plan for the transformation of the vast industrial site into a new mixed-use neighbourhood. Many of the old industrial buildings will be integrated in the new district. [2]

They play at Dalum Stadion in southern parts of Odense on Funen, a stadium with a capacity of 4,000. Founded in 1931, the club rose to prominence in the late 1990s, playing two seasons in the second tier, Danish 1st Division and six seasons in the third tier Danish 2nd Division from 1998 to 2006, and again from 2015–16.

Odense Harbour is the port of Odense, Denmark. Founded in 1803, Denmark's only canal harbour is the country's seventh largest commercial port in terms of turnover. It consists primarily of Inner Harbour, at the end of Odense Canal, and Odense Steel Terminal of Munkebo, which is located adjacent to the Odense Steel Shipyard. The port has a land area of approximately 4,000,000 square metres (43,000,000 sq ft) and a water area of almost 1,000,000 square metres (11,000,000 sq ft). Its industrial importance has declined since the 1960s, but a transformation is underway, including new residential and small business areas.

Maglekilde is the most powerful of several natural springs in Roskilde, Denmark. It formerly issued water at a rate of some 90,000 litres per hour but has now dropped to 15,000 litres per hour. A wellhouse was built over the spring in 1927. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1979.

Højbygaard Sugar Factory was built in 1872–74 at Holeby on Lolland in southeastern Denmark. It was one of the first modern sugar factories built for the country's emerging sugar beet industry. It was taken over by De Danske Sukkerfabrikker in 1877 and operated until 1959. The buildings were then acquired by De Forenede Papirfabrikker and operated as a paper mill under the name Højbygaard Papirfabrik from 1960 to 1993.

The 2021–22 Danish Women's 1st Division was the thirteenth season of the Danish nation-wide second-tier association football division since its establishment in 1992 as part of the Danmarksturneringen i kvindefodbold's nation-wide league structure. The two or multiple group format of the second division was abolished and a single division format was reintroduced for the first time since the 2012–13 season and with fewer clubs partaking. Governed by the Danish FA, the season was launched on 7 August 2021 with two fixtures in the preliminary round and concluded with the last four matches on 20 November 2021. All eight teams in the league took part in the previous season with four teams, Odense Q, B.93, IF ASA and Sundby BK, proceeding to the Qualification League without gaining promotion to the first division. The clubs in the division entered the 2021–22 Danish Women's Cup in the cup tournament's first round proper. The fixtures for the 2021–22 season were announced by the Danish FA's tournament committee and featured a twenty weeks long winter break.
