Damien Mantach is a former Victorian Liberal Party state director who was imprisoned for fraud, and who is currently in prison since being sentenced.

Early life

Mantach was born in Launceston Tasmania, he studied at Launeston Church Grammar School. After school Mantach went and studied at the Warrnambool campus of Deakin University.

Mantach was the State Director of the Tasmanian Liberal Party and worked on multiple campaigns. Mantach was involved in the police tapes scandal which was related to the resignation of Ted Baillieu and resulted in Denis Napthine becoming Premier in 2013. [1]

Conviction

Mantach was arrested for defrauding the Liberal party by creating false invoices and marketing campaigns. He was sentenced to five years in prison. [2] [3]

A member of the Democratic Party, Bookout served as an Arkansas Representative from 1999 until 2004 and as an Arkansas Senator from 2006 to 2013. Bookout was convicted of wire fraud in 2014.

Alexander John Gervase Chalk is a British politician and barrister who served as Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice from April 2023 to July 2024. A member of the Conservative Party, he served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Cheltenham from 2015 to 2024. Chalk has previously served in other positions in the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Defence, and as Solicitor General for England and Wales. Chalk lost his seat to the Liberal Democrats in the 2024 general election.
