Damien Smith (born 1968) is a Canadian artist.
Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Smith holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Guelph. [ citation needed ]
Smith is known for his drawings of the architectural and social legacy of modernist design and its failed utopian agenda.[ citation needed ]

A photographic historian and former curator at the Vassar College Art Gallery in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Phillips succeeded Van Deren Coke as head of one of the country’s most active departments of photography.
