The second series of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 7 May 2006. It had an average of 804,000 people watching, more than the first series, and up to a million tuned into the finale. [1] Rebecca Nicholson (who partnered Tim Shadbolt in the first series) was the only dancer to be part of the series, and partnered Shortland Street actor David Wikaira-Paul. One of the most memorable moments in series two was celebrity Rodney Hide and his partner Krystal Stuart, who were awarded only one point from each judge for his cha-cha-cha, but also dropped her during the end of the performance. [2] On 25 June, Lorraine Downes and her partner Aaron Gilmore took the title of Dancing with the Stars, who ended up winning $111,961.63 for her charity, of the total $333,655, raised for all charities over the series. [3] According to a TVNZ news release, Lorraine Downes won the votes from the public by a slim 0.1%, winning 50.05%, to Faumuina's 49.95%. [3]

Ples sa zvijezdama is the Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars and translates precisely such. Nine seasons have aired on HRT1 from 2006 to 2013 with a ninth season being aired on Nova TV in 2019. The eleventh season was broadcast on Nova TV.

The eleventh season of the Australian Dancing with the Stars premiered on 8 May 2011 on Channel Seven. Daniel MacPherson and Sonia Kruger returned as hosts, along with judges Todd McKenney and Helen Richey. Australian dancer Joshua Horner joined the judging panel as a replacement for Mark Wilson.
The 13th season of Taniec z Gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing with the Stars, started on 4 September 2011 and ended in November 2011. It was broadcast by TVN. Piotr Gąsowski and Natasza Urbańska were the hosts. The judges were: Iwona Szymańska-Pavlović, Piotr Galiński and, replacing Beata Tyszkiewicz and Zbigniew Wodecki, were Jolanta Fraszyńska and Janusz Józefowicz.
The second season of Danse avec les stars debuted on TF1 on 8 October 2011. Nine celebrities were paired with nine professional ballroom dancers. Sandrine Quétier and Vincent Cerutti return as the hosts for this season. The series was won by Shy'm and Maxime Dereymez.
Dancing with the Stars: Season 3 was the third season of the Korean TV show based on the British television series Strictly Come Dancing. The hosts were Lee Deok-hwa and Kim Gyu-ri.
The 14th season of Taniec z Gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing With the Stars, started on 7 March 2014. Unlike the previous thirteen seasons, this one was aired on Polsat TV network. It was hosted by Krzysztof Ibisz and Anna Głogowska, season 13 professional champion. Beata Tyszkiewicz and Iwona Pavlović returned as judges, joined by a ballroom dancer and former World Latin Dance Champion Michał Malitowski as well as an actor Andrzej Grabowski.

The first series of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 1 May 2005. The viewership hit around 730,000 and almost a million tuned into the final episode. It was won by Norm Hewitt and his partner Carol-Ann Hickmore, with 62.42% of the public vote. Shane Cortese placed second with 37.58%. In the semi-finals it was even closer with Norm Hewitt winning 42.81% and Shane winning 36.71% of the public vote. According to a TVNZ spokeswoman, 317,698 votes were cast for the final, of which 83,000 were 0900 calls, and the rest text messages. The series earned charities a combined total of more than $444,000, according to TVNZ.
The third series of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 10 April 2007, with both Gunn and Lane coming back to host. All judges were back with the exception of Paul Mercurio who wanted to focus more on the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars. In season three, it opened with 735,000 people watching, the highest out of all series' debuts. On 29 May 2007, Suzanne Paul and her partner Stefano Olivieri took the title of Dancing with the Stars.
The sixth series of Dancing with the Stars premiered on 31 May 2015 on TV3, and was hosted by Dominic Bowden and Sharyn Casey. Stefano Olivieri, Hayley Holt, and Candy Lane were the series' judges; Lane served as the head judge.
The 17th season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing With the Stars, started on 11 September 2015. This is the fourth season aired on Polsat. Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Krzysztof Ibisz returned as hosts and Iwona Pavlović, Michał Malitowski and Andrzej Grabowski returned as judges. Ola Jordan replaced Beata Tyszkiewicz as the fourth judge.
The 24th season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing with the Stars, started on 6 March 2020 and stopped on 13 March 2020 to 4 September of that year due COVID-19 pandemic. This is the eleventh season aired on Polsat.
