Daniel,Fred &Julie is an album by Canadian musicians Daniel Romano,Frederick Squire and Julie Doiron,released December 1,2009 on You've Changed Records. [1]
The album consists predominantly of traditional folk songs,with the exception of two original songs written by Romano. It was recorded in the garage of Squire's home over the summer of 2009. [1] "Down by the Weeping Willow" is a version of the folk song commonly known as "Jealous Lover". [2]
Eric's Trip is a Canadian indie rock band from Moncton,New Brunswick. Eric's Trip achieved prominence as the first Canadian band to be signed to Seattle's flagship grunge label Sub Pop in the early 1990s. Julie Elaine Doiron is a Canadian singer-songwriter of Acadian heritage. She has been the bass guitarist and co-vocalist for the Canadian indie rock band Eric's Trip since its formation in 1990. She has released ten solo albums,beginning with 1996's Broken Girl,and is also the lead singer for the band Julie and the Wrong Guys.
Andrew Piran Bell is a Welsh singer,songwriter,musician,record producer,and DJ. He is one of two vocalists and guitarists of the English rock band Ride,and was formerly the bassist of Oasis from 1999 until their breakup in 2009. Bell was also a member of Hurricane #1 as well as Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis project Beady Eye until their breakup in 2014.
Mount Eerie is the musical project of American songwriter and producer Phil Elverum. Elverum is the principal member of the band,but has collaborated with many other musicians on his records and in live performances. The album is a sequel to the 2008 collaborative album Lost Wisdom.
