Bigg Boss 2 was the second season of the reality television series, Bigg Boss, and was hosted by Kamal Haasan. The season had 17 housemates, and was filmed with 60 cameras. In the beginning of his career, he made a name for himself by playing the character Vettaiyan, a villain turned into a hero in the television series Saravanan Meenatchi. In 2019, Kavin was a contestant on Bigg Boss . He got his breakthrough by starring as a lead in successful movies such as Lift and Dada.
