Daniel Krch (born 20 March 1992) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a defender for FK Dukla Prague in the Czech National Football League.

Club career

Bohemians 1905

Krch came to the first league on loan from AC Sparta Prague B to Bohemians 1905. He made his first league debut on 19 July 2013 in Bohemians's 5–0 away loss against FC Viktoria Plzeň. After the 2013/14 season, he transferred to Bohemians, and did not play for another club than Bohemians in the Czech First League. During the ten seasons he spent at Bohemians, he played 160 matches and became one of the legends of the club's modern history. [1] He was also a captain for a while. [2] In Autumn 2022, he joined the management of the club. [3]

Dukla Prague

In January 2023, he transferred to Dukla Prague. [4]

International career

He made several appearances for Czech Republic youth national teams, last for U19 team in 2010. [5]

Stadion Evžena Rošického, also known simply as Strahov, is a multi-purpose stadium in Strahov, Prague in the Czech Republic. It hosted the 1978 European Athletics Championships and for many years this was the venue for main annual international track and field meet of Prague until Stadion Juliska took the role in 2002. Nowadays the stadium is used only for minor domestic athletic competitions and mostly for football matches, although no team plays at the stadium regularly. It served as the home ground for SK Slavia Prague from August 2000 until May 2008 when their new stadium, the Synot Tip Arena, was opened. The 2013–14 Czech First League, known as the Gambrinus liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 21st season of the Czech Republic's top-tier football league. The season began on 19 July 2013 and ended on 31 May 2014. Sparta Prague won their 36th title on 4 May 2014, after defending champions Plzeň drew against Jablonec. They ended the season with a Czech league record of 79 points out of a possible 90, winning all of their home games, and losing only one away game and drawing a further four. The first half of the season will have 16 rounds, finishing on 13 November 2022 because of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and the other half will commence on 28 January 2023. The season is expected to end on 28 May 2023 with two extra play-out fixtures on 1 and 4 June 2023.

The 2022–23 Czech National Football League is the 30th season of the Czech Republic's second tier football league. The season started on 29 July 2022.
