The Danish Media Association (Danish: Danske Medier) is an industry body representing the printed, radio and digital media industry in Denmark. The organization is based in Pressens Hus in central Copenhagen.

The organization was founded in 2012/2013 through the merger of all major Danish associations for professional Danish media: Dansk Magasinpresses Udgiverforening (DMU), Danske Dagblades Forening (DDF), Danske Specialmedier (DS), Digitale Publicister (DP), Foreningen af Danske Interaktive Medier (FDIM), Radioerne and Ugeaviserne. Location

The association is headquartered in Pressens Hus on Skindergade in central Copenhagen. The building was built for S. Seidelin in 1903.

Danish Union of Journalists is a Danish trade union for journalists, graphic designers, communication officers, photographers, media technicians, etc., which was founded on 1 January 1961. Members are both permanent employees and freelancers. The President is Lars Werge Andersen; from 1999-2015 it was Mogens Blicher Bjerregaard.

Skindergade

Skindergade is a street in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Running roughly parallel to Strøget, to which it is connected through Jorcks Passage, it extends for approximately 400 metres from Gammeltorv to Købmagergade.

Niels Frederiksen Danish professional football manager

Niels Frederiksen is a Danish professional football manager. He is the head coach of Danish Superliga club Brøndby IF.

Pressens Hus Building in Copenhagen

Pressens Hus, home to the Danish Media Association, a membershop organisation body representing printed and digital media industry in Denmark, is situated at Skindergade 7 in central Copenhagen. The building consists of a former commerce house from 1903 and a Modernist infill extension by Erik Korshagen from 1976. which was listed in 1992.

De Danske Husmoderforeninger or DDH, later Aktive Kvinder i Danmark, was established on 15 May 1920 as the central organization covering the many local housewives associations in Denmark. The first of these was Københavns Husmoderforening which was established in 1917. The author Thit Jensen was responsible for founding the Copenhagen association as we all the DDH.

Mads Rørvig Danish politician

Mads Rørvig Nielsen is a former Danish politician who was a member of the Danish Parliament from 2010 to 2015. He represented the district Silkeborg Sydkredsen as a member of the Venstre party. As of June 2020, Rørvig is the CEO of De Danske Bilimportører.

Anne Bruun

Anne Kirstine Bruun (1853–1934) was a Danish schoolteacher and women's rights activist. An early proponent of equal pay for male and female teachers, in 1900 she became the first woman to serve on the central committee of the Danish Union of Teachers. She was an enthusiastic member of the Danish Women's Society and a frequent contributor to their magazine Kvinden og Samfundet which she edited for a time in the mid-1890s. Bruun was an early supporter of the Women's Society's direct involvement in the fight for women's voting rights.

Kvindedivisionsforeningen

Kvindedivisionsforeningen, shortened to KDF, is a trade, special interest and employers' organisation for women's professional association football in Denmark and the elite clubs that partake in the Women's League, Women's 1st Division and Women's Under-18 Tournament, representing their interests, primarily towards the Danish Football Association (DBU), the Danish Football Players' Association (SF) and the local municipalities. The association's secretariat is located at the offices of the Danish FA at Fodboldens Hus, DBU Allé 1 in Brøndby. While the national FA is the organiser of the women's nation-wide league and cup tournaments, the women's organisation has a say in their marketing, guidelines, structure and development. They have previously organised an unofficial football tournament, called Grand Prix turneringen.
