The Danish Touringcar Championship (abbreviated as the DTC) was a touring car racing series in Denmark. The inaugural year for the DTC was 1999, after the huge success in Scandinavia of the British Touring Car Championship. For the first two years it was known as the Danish Touring Car Challenge. The final DTC season was in 2010, as the series merged with the Swedish Touring Car Championship to form the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. [1]

Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) was a touring car racing series based in Sweden, but also with rounds in Norway. They began operating in 1996, heavily influenced by the British Touring Car Championship and the success of BTCC racing on Swedish television. Jyllands-Ringen

FDM Jyllands-Ringen is a motor racing circuit in Resenbro, near Silkeborg in Denmark. The circuit was extended from 1.475 kilometers to 2.3 kilometers in 2003, by linking the track to an adjacent oval circuit. Jyllands-Ringen hosted regular rounds of the Danish Touringcar Championship. It will host three rounds of the new TCR Denmark Touring Car Series.

2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship sports season

The 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 15th and last Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. Four of the race weekends were held together with the Danish Touring Car Championship and the results from these races also counted towards the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup. From 2011, the new Scandinavian Touring Car Championship replaced both the Swedish and the Danish Touring Car Championships.

The Danish Thundersport Championship (DTC) is a Danish motorsport series, administered by DTC Motorsport A / S. DTC had its first season in 2012 and is a sports car series featuring American muscle cars of the CCRMK1 type. The series runs according to DASU regulations. DTC has taken over the abbreviation from Danish Touringcar Championship.
