The United Federation of Workers in Denmark is a Danish labor union.
The Scout and Guide movement in Denmark consists of about ten different associations. Most of them are members of two large federations, but there are also some independent organizations. Affiliated to Danish Scouting and Guiding are the organizations in Greenland, on the Faroe Islands and in Southern Schleswig.

His most notable films form a trilogy about schoolchildren in 1950s Århus: Lars-Ole 5c, Boys and Tree of Knowledge. The latter film, 1981's Tree of Knowledge, is one of ten films listed in Denmark's cultural canon by the Danish Ministry of Culture.

Henning Bahs was a Danish screenwriter and special effects designer. He wrote for more than 40 films between 1960 and 2002. He is best known as the co-author of the Olsen-banden series of films. The Henning Bahs Award was established in 2012 by the Danish Film Critics Association in commemoration of Bahs' death ten years earlier.

Emma Gad, born Emma Halkier, was a Danish writer and socialite who wrote plays and books that were often satirical. Although she was a prolific writer, many of her works fell into obscurity after her death. One work that remained popular was Takt og Tone, a book of etiquette she wrote in old age.
The Bandy Federation of Denmark was created in 2014 by two Danish brothers living in Sweden and playing bandy in Swedish clubs, Ole Gyldenlöve and Christian Gyldenlöve. It became a member of the Federation of International Bandy the same year. They hoped to be able to set up a Danish national team for the World Championship. However, this did not come true and the federation did not last. In 2017, it has been removed from the FIB member list.

Trade unions in Norway first emerged with the efforts of Marcus Thrane and the formation of the Drammen Labour Union in 1848 which organised agricultural workers and crofters. However, with Thrane's imprisonment and the suppression of the union in 1855, it was not until 1872 before a union was founded again, by print workers. In 1899 the first national federation, the LO, was founded. During this period interactions with trade unions in Denmark and Sweden played a great influence over the development of trade unions in Norway.
Hans Christian Branner was a Danish novelist, essayist and playwright. He was a leading writer of the post-World War II period in Denmark and a founder member of the Danish Academy. His work dealt with the themes of power, fear and loneliness and earned him several literary awards including De Gyldne Laurbær, the Holberg Medal (1954) and the Danish Playwrights' Honorary Award (1961).
