Danuta Joppek is a Polish artist and painter. She was curator and co-organiser of some exhibitions in Poland and abroad, and the author of analytical texts about art.
She was born in 1955 [1] in Węglówka, Poland. [2] She graduated from graduated from the Wychowanie Plastyczne, Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Sztuk Plastycznych ( now: Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts ) in 1989 and the Malarstwo i Grafika, Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Sztuk Plastycznych (now: ASP) in 1990. [3] From 1986 through 1991 she worked as a scenery designer for Teatr Wybrzeże in Gdańsk. [4]
She is a member the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. Her work is in the collection of the National Museum, Gdańsk. [4]

Bogdan P. K. Perzyński is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Austin, Texas. Perzyński approaches his work as an organism rather than an object. AST National Academy of Theatre Arts, is a drama school based in Kraków and Wrocław, Poland. It was founded in 1946 by actor Juliusz Osterwa, who took the initial steps leading to the establishment of the Academy through the amalgamation of three local studios; Stary Teatr, the Słowacki Theatre, and Iwo Gall's Dramatic Studio.
Małgorzata Zajączkowska, also known as Margaret Sophie Stein, is a Polish actress and writer. Beginning in 1979, she acted on stage in the Teatr Narodowy. In 1981, Zajączkowska moved to the United States and, adopting the stage name Margaret Sophie Stein, continued her acting career in television and film. In 1999, Zajączkowska returned to Poland and continued acting there in films and television. She has also lectured at the Warsaw Film School.
Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Fine Arts is a major fine-art academy located in the city of Poznań, in west-central Poland. It was founded in 1919 as the State School of Decorative Arts.
Było sobie miasteczko... is a 2009 Polish historical documentary film about the 1943 Kisielin massacre in the village of Kisielin, located in the Wołyń Voivodeship in Poland before World War II,. The film, directed by Tadeusz Arciuch and Maciej Wojciechowski, was produced by Adam Kruk for Telewizja Polska.

Jerzy Katlewicz was a Polish music conductor, pianist and Professor of the Academy of Music in Kraków since 1990. Katlewicz graduated from the same Academy in 1952, and served as conductor of the Kraków Philharmonic between 1952 and 1958 during the period of Stalinism in Poland. He was appointed artistic director there a decade later, in 1968 and remained at his post until 1981. In 1961-68 he was artistic director of Polish Baltic Opera and Philharmonic in Gdańsk. In 1984–1985 he was artistic director of the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Polish Radio and Television state agency in Kraków. Katlewicz was the recipient of the Commander's Cross with Star of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland (1993), among other distinctions.

Kazimierz Cwojdziński was a Polish mathematician and professor of the School of Engineering in Poznań. Cwojdziński published his works regarding secondary school curriculum and school mathematics in the journals Wiadomości Matematyczne, Muzeum, Parametr, and Matematyka as well as the German journal Archiv der Mathematik und Physik. He was among the first year-group to obtain a doctorate in mathematics from the Adam Mickiewicz University.
The main building of Bydgoszcz Music Academy is a historical edifice in downtown Bydgoszcz, dating back to the early 20th century. It is registered on the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship Heritage List.

Andrzej Jan Szwalbe (1923-2002) was a Polish lawyer, social and cultural activist and manager of the musical life in Bydgoszcz. He was the originator and creator of numerous artistic projects outside the region. In 1993, he has been designated as "Honorary Citizen of Bydgoszcz". He was awarded the highest state orders for his contribution to Polish culture.
