Dariusz Gilman is a former sabre fencer who represented Poland and earned a bronze medal from the 1998 World Fencing Championships. [1] In the years since, he has become an American citizen and fencing coach.
Gilman began fencing when he was 10 years old, started competing internationally in his early teens, and continued competing for more than a decade. In 1991, he won both the European and World Championships in the Cadet (under 17) event. In 1992, he won the European Championships in the Junior (under 20) event. In 1998, he and the Polish sabre team took third in the team event at the World Championships. He was also a Polish national champion.
After retiring from professional fencing and moving to America, Gilman took over the sabre program at the DC Fencers Club in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he coached for over a decade. In 2013, he opened the Capital Fencing Academy in Rockville, Maryland. He has also worked with Ed Korfanty and the Penn State University elite sabre program. In all of his years coaching, Gilman has trained fencers who have become champions and medalists at World Cups, Junior Olympics, NCAA, and USFA national competitions. He is certified as a fencing master with the US Fencing Coaches Association.
Sada Molly Jacobson is an American Olympic fencer. She is the 2008 Olympic Individual Sabre silver medalist in women's saber, the 2004 Olympic Individual Sabre bronze medalist in women's saber, and the 2003 Pan American Games champion in women's saber. In 2016, she was inducted into the United States Fencing Hall of Fame.

A 1970 graduate of The Daghestan State Pedagogical Institute, Nazlymov earned a bachelor's and master's degree in physical education. He earned the title of Master of the Sport (Fencing) in 1968.
David Abramovich Tyshler was a Russian sabreur, part of the first generation of internationally successful Soviet fencers. He is also known as a successful and innovative fencing coach. His notable pupils included Sergey Sharikov, Mark Midler, Mark Rakita, Viktor Sidjak, Viktor Krovopuskov, and Viktor Bazhenov. He choreographed stage and screen combat, and made cameo appearances in Russian cinema.

Timothy Frank "Tim" Morehouse is an American fencer who won a Silver Medal competing in the men's sabre as a member of the United States fencing team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Morehouse is coached by Yury Gelman. He is the founder of the Fencing in the Schools program.

She holds a bronze medal from both the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2012 Summer Olympics and is a four-time World champion and five-time European champion. She was Olympic team champion in the 2008 Summer Olympics, twice World team champion and twice European team champion. Kharlan was named athlete of the year at the 2009 Ukrainian Heroes of Sports Years awards. She briefly pursued a political career.
