Darrien Landsberg (born 26 July 1998) is a Zimbabwean rugby union player for the Pumas in the Currie Cup. [2] His regular position is lock.
He joined the Pumas ahead of the newly formed Super Rugby Unlocked competition in October 2020. [3] Landsberg made his debut in Round 1 of Super Rugby Unlocked against the Cheetahs. [4]
Super Rugby is a men's professional rugby union club competition involving teams from Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. Daniel Johannes "Duane" Vermeulen is a former South African professional rugby union player who previously played for the South Africa national team. He also previously played for Ulster Rugby in the United Rugby Championship, Vodacom Blue Bulls and the Pumas, Free State Cheetahs and Western Province in South African domestic rugby, the Cheetahs, Stormers and Bulls in Super Rugby and Toulon in the Top 14. He was an instrumental part of South Africa winning the 2019 Rugby World Cup and received the Man of the Match award in the final.
