Darryl Lamon Morrison (born May 19, 1971) is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons with the Washington Redskins. He played college football for the Arizona Wildcats and was selected in the sixth round of the 1993 NFL draft. [1]
Darryl and his wife, JoAnn, have five children. His two sons, Samuel and Benjamin, both play college football. Samuel played at Arizona and San Diego State. Benjamin currently plays at Notre Dame. [2] All three of his daughters are also college athletes; his daughter Faith was a gymnast at Washington (2013–2016), his daughter Grace was a volleyball player at Appalachian State (2017–2021), and his daughter Naomi is an All-American gymnast at Michigan and a member of their national championship-winning team in 2021. Darryl earned a Master’s in Divinity and is now the pastor of a Phoenix church. [4]
Richard Franklin Mirer is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the second overall pick of the 1993 NFL draft. In his first season, Mirer set the rookie records for passing yards, attempts, and completions. Unable to duplicate his success, however, Mirer was traded after four seasons to the Chicago Bears. He spent the remainder of his career with the New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, and Detroit Lions, mostly as a backup.
Aaron Matthew Taylor is an American former professional football player who was a guard for six seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Jeffrey Lamar Burris is an American football coach and former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. He played college football for the University of Notre Dame, and was a consensus All-American. He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 1994 NFL draft, and he played professionally for the Bills, Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL. Burris was the assistant defensive backs coach/defensive quality control coach for the Miami Dolphins. On October 8, 2015, Jeff Burris was promoted to assistant defensive backs coach for the Dolphins. On June 3, 2016, he was hired as a defensive analyst for his alma mater, the University of Notre Dame.
Brayden Tyler "Brady" Quinn is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where he won the Maxwell Award. Quinn was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 2007 NFL draft. Following three seasons in Cleveland, he was traded to the Denver Broncos, where he played for two seasons. He played college football as a halfback and fullback for the Pittsburgh Panthers.
