Fox8 is an Australian pay television channel available on Foxtel, and Optus Television's subscription platforms. It is the most watched subscription television channel in Australia and broadcasts the highest rating non-sporting related program or event on subscription television in Australia, Australia's Next Top Model in 2009. A high definition version of the channel, Fox8HD, was launched on the Foxtel and Austar platforms on 15 November 2009.
Brian Nicholas McFadden is an Irish pop singer and television presenter. He rose to fame in 1998 as a member of the Irish boy band Westlife. Season three of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 27 March 2007 on Fox8. Former model and designer of swimsuit collection Tigerlily, Jodhi Meares replaced Erika Heynatz as the host of the show after the latter was involved in a breach of contract following her appearance on the Seven Network series It Takes Two in 2006. Alex Perry was the only incumbent judge to return in the third series. Also joining the panel for the first time were international photographer Jez Smith, and ex-model and TV personality Charlotte Dawson. Fashion photographer Georges Antoni and fashion producer Victoria Fisher were replaced this year by these new judges.
The fourth season of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 22 April 2008 on Fox8. Auditions were held during October and November 2007 across Australia. Host Jodhi Meares returned for the fourth series along with judges Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson, while Jez Smith left the show due to scheduling commitments. Two different guest judges were included at panel every week. The contestants were housed in an $8 million waterfront mansion, located in the southern Sydney suburb of Port Hacking, which the contestants moved into on 25 January 2008.
The sixth season of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 20 July 2010 on Fox8. Sarah Murdoch returned as the host and leading judge for this season. Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson also returned as judges.

Slide is an Australian teen drama series which premiered on the Fox8 subscription television channel and aired from 16 August to 18 October 2011. The series followed the lives of five teenagers making their way into adulthood in the city of Brisbane. FOX8 confirmed in February 2012 a second season was not commissioned.

Grimm is an American fantasy police procedural drama television series created by Stephen Carpenter, Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt, and produced by Universal Television for NBC. The series aired from October 28, 2011, to March 31, 2017, for 123 episodes, over six seasons. The series' narrative follows Portland homicide detective Nicholas Burkhardt, who discovers he is a Grimm, the latest in a line of guardians who is sworn to keep the balance between humanity and mythological creatures, known as Wesen. The series features a supporting cast with Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
Showcase is an Australian premium drama cable and satellite television channel. It was initially part of the Showtime Australia channels and was managed by PMP chief executive officer Peter Rose. In 2007 Rose said Showcase "provides a real home at last for quality drama in Australia, and this list of outstanding event television is just the start". Showcase launched with the Australian TV premieres of Dexter and Australian-made series Satisfaction.
Rove LA is an Australian television comedy talk show which debuted on Fox8 on 19 September 2011. The show is hosted by Rove McManus and is set in Los Angeles. The show is presented in a similar fashion to McManus's previous talk show Rove, featuring comedy segments and interviews with celebrity guests. The show was picked up for a two-year run on the Fox8 subscription channel.

The eighth cycle of Australia's Next Top Model began airing 9 July 2013 on Fox8. Model and Miss Universe 2004 Jennifer Hawkins took over as the host for this season, replacing Sarah Murdoch. Hawkins had previously appeared in one episode at the inaugural cycle, joining incumbent judges Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson with Didier Cohen joining the show as a new judge. This is the last series of Australia's Next Top Model to feature Dawson, before she died of an apparent suicide five months after it ended.
The Face is an Australian reality television modelling competition series aired on Fox8 of Foxtel and produced by Shine Australia. Naomi Campbell was the show's executive producer and one of the three supermodel coaches of the series, as with the American and British versions. It was reported that the channel and production team acquired the right to create an adaptation for Australian TV on 31 August 2013. Filming for the series took place from 1 November to 4 December 2013. The series premiered on 18 March 2014 and concluded on 6 May 2014.
The ninth cycle of Australia's Next Top Model began airing 30 April 2015 on Fox8. Jennifer Hawkins and Alex Perry returned judges for this season, while Cheyenne Tozzi was added as a new co-mentor alongside Didier Cohen, who was formerly a judge on the previous season.
The tenth and final season of Australia's Next Top Model began airing on 20 September 2016 on Fox8. Head judge and host Jennifer Hawkins and judge Alex Perry returned along with model mentor Cheyenne Tozzi. Tozzi's co-mentor and former judge Didier Cohen left the show after season 9, and was replaced by the Stenmark twins, models Jordan and Zac Stenmark, as her new co-mentors. Model Megan Gale joined the judging panel as a permanent judge.
