Dating in the Dark

Dating in the Dark Australia premiered on the Fox8 subscription television on 1 December 2010. The show's format is based on a Dutch dating show called Daten in het Donker (English: "Dating in the Dark"). The series is hosted by Laura Dundovic. A second season premiered on 10 April 2012.

The premise of the show involves three single guys and three single girls who are brought together in one house. They only come into contact with the opposite sex in a dark room, with high definition night vision cameras capturing their meetings. The contestants are encouraged to touch each other to see if they like the physical body of the person they may go on a romantic date with. [1]

Season three of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 27 March 2007 on Fox8. Former model and designer of swimsuit collection Tigerlily, Jodhi Meares replaced Erika Heynatz as the host of the show after the latter was involved in a breach of contract following her appearance on the Seven Network series It Takes Two in 2006. Alex Perry was the only incumbent judge to return in the third series. Also joining the panel for the first time were international photographer Jez Smith, and ex-model and TV personality Charlotte Dawson. Fashion photographer Georges Antoni and fashion producer Victoria Fisher were replaced this year by these new judges.

The fourth season of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 22 April 2008 on Fox8. Auditions were held during October and November 2007 across Australia. Host Jodhi Meares returned for the fourth series along with judges Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson, while Jez Smith left the show due to scheduling commitments. Two different guest judges were included at panel every week. The contestants were housed in an $8 million waterfront mansion, located in the southern Sydney suburb of Port Hacking, which the contestants moved into on 25 January 2008.

The eighth cycle of Australia's Next Top Model began airing 9 July 2013 on Fox8. Model and Miss Universe 2004 Jennifer Hawkins took over as the host for this season, replacing Sarah Murdoch. Hawkins had previously appeared in one episode at the inaugural cycle, joining incumbent judges Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson with Didier Cohen joining the show as a new judge. This is the last series of Australia's Next Top Model to feature Dawson, before she died of an apparent suicide five months after it ended.

The Face is an Australian reality television modelling competition series aired on Fox8 of Foxtel and produced by Shine Australia. Naomi Campbell was the show's executive producer and one of the three supermodel coaches of the series, as with the American and British versions. It was reported that the channel and production team acquired the right to create an adaptation for Australian TV on 31 August 2013. Filming for the series took place from 1 November to 4 December 2013. The series premiered on 18 March 2014 and concluded on 6 May 2014.

The tenth season of Australia's Next Top Model began airing on 20 September 2016 on Fox8. Head judge and host Jennifer Hawkins and judge Alex Perry returned along with model mentor Cheyenne Tozzi. Tozzi's co-mentor and former judge Didier Cohen left the show after season 9, and was replaced by the Stenmark twins, models Jordan and Zac Stenmark, as her new co-mentors. Model Megan Gale joined the judging panel as a permanent judge.
