Dave Waterbury is an American music producer, musician, and songwriter from Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Waterbury was a member the rock band Spirit, [1] having of played bass guitar and sang on three tours in the 1980s. He was also a member of and toured with the group The Box Tops in 1979.
As musician, producer, songwriter, or all three at once, Waterbury has worked with members of The Doors (Robbie Krieger), and Suicidal Tendencies guitarist (Anthony Gallo), Tears for Fears, Randy California, Pink, Mark Kendall of Great White, Ray Charles, 4 Non Blondes, Michael Jackson (Leon Abner), Terri Nunn of Berlin, Betsy of "Bitch", Marco Mendoza (of Whitesnake and Ted Nugent), The Zeros' Sammy Serious, Paul McCartney & Wings, The Doobie Brothers (Michael McDonald and Keith Knutsen), Guitar Jack, Uli Jon Roth of Scorpions, drummer Brian Tichy, Los Angeles Lakers cheerleaders, Chris Poland of Megadeth, David Eagle (Tina Turner's band), and bassist Renny J of (Parliament) and Donna Summer.[ citation needed ]
Steely Dan is an American rock band founded in 1971 in New York by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. Active for five decades, with their greatest success during the 1970s, the group's current lineup consists of founding members Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons, alongside Michael McDonald and John McFee, and touring musicians including John Cowan, Marc Russo (saxophones), Ed Toth (drums), and Marc Quiñones (percussion). Other long-serving members of the band include guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter (1974–1979), bassist Tiran Porter and drummers John Hartman, Michael Hossack, and Keith Knudsen. They performed gospel-influenced songs such as "Take Me in Your Arms " and "Jesus is Just Alright".
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is an American country rock band formed in 1966. The group has existed in various forms since its founding in Long Beach, California. Between 1976 and 1981, the band performed and recorded as the Dirt Band.

Steven Lee Lukather is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, arranger and record producer, best known as the sole continuous founding member of the rock band Toto. His reputation as a skilled guitarist led to a steady flow of session work beginning in the 1970s that has since established him as a prolific session musician, recording guitar tracks for more than 1,500 albums spanning a broad array of artists and genres. He has also contributed to albums and hit singles as a songwriter, arranger and producer. Notably, Lukather played guitar on Boz Scaggs' albums Down Two Then Left (1977) and Middle Man (1980), and was a prominent contributor to several studio albums by Michael Jackson, including Thriller (1982). Lukather has released nine solo albums, the latest of which, Bridges, was released in June 2023.

David Sancious is an American musician. He was an early member of Bruce Springsteen's backing group, the E Street Band, and contributed to the first three Springsteen albums, and again on Human Touch (1992), Tracks (1998), and Western Stars (2019). Sancious is a multi-instrumentalist but is best known as a keyboard player and guitarist. He left the E Street Band in 1974 to form his own band, Tone, and released several albums. He subsequently became a popular session and touring musician, most notably for Stanley Clarke, Narada Michael Walden, Zucchero Fornaciari, Eric Clapton, Peter Gabriel, Jack Bruce, and Sting among many others. In 2014, Sancious was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E Street Band.
Michael William Head is an English singer-songwriter and musician from Liverpool, England. He is most famous as the lead singer and songwriter for Shack and the Pale Fountains, both of which also feature his younger brother John Head. Though the bands never achieved mainstream success, they have a strong following and NME have described him as "a lost genius and among the most gifted British songwriters of his generation."
