Dave Wommack (born May 9, 1956) is an American former college football coach. He served as the defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech from 2008 to 2009, Arkansas State University in 2011, and the University of Mississippi from 2012 to 2016. Wommack retired after the 2016 season. [1] [2]

A native of Kimberling City, Missouri, Wommack played football at Missouri Southern State University. Wommack lettered three years, as a center. He is married with two children, one being current Alabama Crimson Tide defensive coordinator Kane Wommack
