Donald Smith Airey is an English keyboardist who has been the keyboardist in the rock band Deep Purple since 2002, after the retirement of Jon Lord. He has had a long and productive career, playing with such acts as Gary Moore, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Whitesnake, Saxon, Wishbone Ash, Steve Vai, Colosseum II, Ten, Sinner, Michael Schenker, Rainbow, Empire, Thin Lizzy, Brian May, Divlje jagode and Living Loud. Stuart James Airey is an English first-class cricketer. Airey is right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium-fast. He was born in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.

Motu Matu'u is a rugby union footballer who plays as a hooker for London Irish in the RFU Championship. He previously played for Wellington Lions in the ITM Cup and for the Hurricanes in the Super Rugby. He attended Rongotai College in Wellington, which was also attended by Ma'a Nonu. He is 184 cm tall and weighs 108 kg.

An English team raised by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) toured New Zealand between December 1960 and March 1961 to play four first-class matches against New Zealand. MCC also played against each of the main provincial teams – Auckland, Central Districts, Northern Districts, Canterbury, Otago and Wellington – and 12 matches against minor association teams.

Live in Verona is a live release by English hard rock band Deep Purple's mk VIII lineup credited as Deep Purple with Orchestra, and performed alongside the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt conducted by Stephen Bentley-Klein. This concert was recorded at the Arena di Verona, a Roman amphitheater originally built in 30 AD, on 18 July 2011. Besides a Blu-ray/DVD release, the concert has also been released in Japan on 2CD. David Mitchell was a New Zealand poet, teacher and cricketer. In the 1960s and 1970s he was a well-known performance poet in New Zealand, and in 1980 he founded the weekly event "Poetry Live" which continues to run in Auckland. His poetry collection Pipe Dreams in Ponsonby (1972) was popular and iconic, and his poems have been included in several New Zealand anthologies and journals. A collection of his poems titled Steal Away Boy: Selected Poems of David Mitchell was published in 2010, shortly before his death.

Wilfrid Airey was a New Zealand cricketer. He played in seven first-class matches for Wellington from 1927 to 1940.
