David Bullock (born June 15, 1993), also known by the nickname Alaska, is an American technology entrepreneur, media executive, [1] and talent manager.

Early life

Bullock is the youngest of seven children. [7] He attended South Anchorage High School as an All-Conference basketball player before following his older brother Wesley to attend Howard University in Washington, DC. [3] [7] [8]

Career

In 2014, Bullock was recognized at #81 on the list of the "Top 100 Most Influential Black People on Digital/ Social Media" by Eelan Media. [9]

Bullock made his national television debut on the premiere episode of Time's Up!, which aired on Music Television in 2014. [10]

In early 2015, Bullock collaborated with The World Famous Tony Williams to coordinate the "Some of My Best Rappers Are Friends" music showcase at the SXSW Music Festival. [11] [12] The following year, he traveled North America working on Kanye West's Saint Pablo Tour. [7] [13] [14] Since then, he has attended Kanye West's "Sunday Service" gatherings, with his tweets from the events being used in news articles on multiple occasions. [2] [15] [16]

In 2017, he was named to the "HBCU Top 30 Under 30" listing by HBCU Buzz. [17]

In 2018, he was awarded Anchorage, Alaska's highest honor, equivalent to the key of the city, due to his work in the music industry. [18] [19] That same year, GQ referred to him as a "prominent black entrepreneur" [2] and he was named to the list of the "100 Most Influential People of African Descent under the age of 40" by a committee in support of the United Nations Decade Of African Descent. In 2018, 907 Agency announced a mobile gaming app, World Famous. [19] Bullock helped produce [19] Sean Combs' 2018 CombsFest "Bermuda Dunes bash". In 2012, the label released its debut compilation album Cruel Summer. In 2015, Pusha T was appointed the president of the label by West, while record executive Steven Victor was appointed COO. On December 19, 2022, Pusha T announced that he was stepping down and was no longer on speaking terms with West.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Cudi moved to New York City in pursuit of a musical career, where he first gained major recognition following the release of his debut single "Day 'n' Nite", which he initially self-published on his MySpace page. The song became a worldwide hit and served as the catalyst for Cudi to team with American record producers Plain Pat and Emile Haynie, to record his first official full-length project, a mixtape titled A Kid Named Cudi (2008). Kids See Ghosts was an American hip-hop supergroup composed of musicians Kanye West and Kid Cudi. Formed in 2018 during West’s Wyoming sessions, the duo released their eponymous debut album in June of that year, through their respective label imprints, GOOD Music and Wicked Awesome Records. The album was critically acclaimed, debuting at number two on the US Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The duo disbanded in 2022.

Prior to the release, West and Cudi had collaborated on each others' work since 2008, although they experienced personal quarrels due to creative differences. "Freeee " is a song by American hip hop duo Kids See Ghosts, composed of the rappers Kanye West and Kid Cudi, from their eponymous debut album (2018). The song features a guest appearance from American musician Ty Dolla Sign. It is the sequel to West's song "Ghost Town" from his eighth studio album, Ye (2018). The song includes a feature from GOOD Music president Pusha T. It was produced by West and co-produced by Mike Dean and Benny Blanco, with additional production by Plain Pat, Evan Mast, Justin Vernon, Francis and the Lights, Cashmere Cat and Noah Goldstein. The Sunday Service Choir is an American gospel group led by artist and producer Kanye West and conducted by choir director Jason White. Beginning in January 2019, the group has performed every Sunday, as well as Friday, September 27, when West's album Jesus Is King was announced for release. Their debut album, Jesus Is Born, was released three months later on Christmas Day, 2019.

"Remote Control" is a song by American rapper Kanye West from his tenth studio album Donda (2021). The song, which features vocals from fellow American rapper Young Thug, was produced by West alongside Cubeatz, Digital Nas, Ojivolta, 88-Keys, Mike Dean and Teddy Walton.
