The National Counties,known as the Minor Counties before 2020,are the cricketing counties of England and Wales that do not have first-class status. The game is administered by the National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA),which comes under the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). There are currently twenty teams in National Counties cricket:nineteen representing historic counties of England,plus the Wales National County Cricket Club.

Widely regarded as the greatest Kenyan cricketer ever,Tikolo has scored the most runs and taken the second most wickets for the team in One Day Internationals. As captain,he led Kenya to the semi-final of the 2003 Cricket World Cup.
Stuart Charles Glyndwr MacGill is an Australian former cricketer who played 44 Test matches and three One Day Internationals for the Australian national cricket team. He is a right-arm leg spin bowler,who has been credited with having the best strike rate of any modern leg-spin bowler,but he did not have a regular place in the Australian Test team due to the dominance of Shane Warne in the position of sole spinner. His bowling was slightly slower through the air than Warne's,but he was a prodigious turner of the ball.

Sussex County Cricket Club is the oldest of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Sussex. Its limited overs team is called the Sussex Sharks. The club was founded in 1839 as a successor to the various Sussex county cricket teams,including the old Brighton Cricket Club,which had been representative of the county of Sussex as a whole since the 1720s. The club has always held first-class status. Sussex have competed in the County Championship since the official start of the competition in 1890 and have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England.

David John Hussey is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer. Hussey is a right-handed batter and can also bowl right-arm off breaks. He is the younger brother of former Australian cricketer Michael Hussey. He was captain of the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League.
James Charles Hildreth is a former English professional cricketer who played for Somerset County Cricket Club. He attended Millfield School,Somerset. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler. Hildreth represented England at all youth levels including the 2003–04 Under-19 World cup held in Bangladesh. He made his first-class debut in 2003 and became a regular member of the side from the start of the 2004 season. The James Hildreth Stand was opened by him at Somerset County Cricket Ground on 21 September 2022.
George Puckrin Harrison,also known as "Shoey" because he was a shoemaker by trade was an English first-class cricketer who played fifty-nine first-class matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1883 and 1892. He also appeared in first-class cricket for the Players (1883),T Emmett's XI (1883),Lord Sheffield's XI (1884),An England XI (1884) and L Hall's Yorkshire XI (1891).
A cricket team from South America toured England,Scotland and Wales in the 1932 season. The team played six first-class matches and 12 other games. A seventh first-class match with Worcestershire was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Ælfric Milton Harrison was an English cricketer active in the first half of the twentieth century. A right-handed batsman and right-arm bowler,Harrison made three appearances in first-class cricket,but played the majority of his cricket in minor counties cricket for Dorset from 1908 to 1946.
Lord Hawke selected a cricket team of ten amateurs and two professional players to tour Australia and New Zealand from November 1902 until March 1903. After an opening game in San Francisco,the tour began of eighteen matches - seven of them considered first-class - in New Zealand followed by three further first-class games in Australia. Hawke's team was the first to tour Australasia with New Zealand as the primary destination and,as was the norm at the time,was privately run and funded. The Australian leg of the tour was a "profit making venture",however the games in New Zealand were scheduled at the behest of the New Zealand Cricket Board in order to raise the profile of cricket in the country. Two of them were against a New Zealand cricket team,before its international Test status. The inclusion of such games on the tour were considered "a sign that cricket in New Zealand was starting to be taken more seriously,and a move towards official international status was possible."
Philip Dean Salt is a professional cricketer,who plays internationally for England and domestically for Lancashire County Cricket Club,and previously for Sussex. Primarily an aggressive right-handed opening batsman,he sometimes keeps wicket and,less frequently,bowls right-arm medium-pace. Salt made his international debut for England in July 2021. Born in Wales,he moved in his youth to Barbados and then to England. Salt was part of the England team that won the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup.
Stuart Gordon Whittingham is a Scottish former cricketer who played for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club as well as representing his country in One Day Internationals. Whittingham has also represented Loughborough MCC University,Sussex and the Scotland Under-19 cricket team. Primarily a right-arm fast-medium bowler,he also bats right handed. However,in September 2020,Whittingham was forced to retire from cricket due to a back injury.
