David Mitchell is an Irish actor known for playing Jimmy Doyle in soap opera Fair City for 17 years.

Mitchell was born in Dublin. His parents are Ann Fitzpatrick and Paddy Mitchell. His family home is in Finglas, Dublin. Mitchell has recently moved to America. He won RTÉ's You're a Star Charity Special , a talent contest in which he defeated seven other celebrities.

Keith Peter Thomas Francis Julian John Duffy is an Irish singer-songwriter, actor, radio and television presenter and drummer who began his professional music career as part of Irish boy band Boyzone alongside Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately in 1993. The band decided to focus on solo projects in 2000 since which Duffy has achieved critical acclaim for his acting roles, particularly in soap operas such as Coronation Street and Fair City. He has also presented The Box and You're a Star.

Glenroe is a television drama series broadcast on RTÉ One in Ireland between September 1983, when the first episode was aired, and May 2001. A spin-off from Bracken — a short-lived RTÉ drama itself spun off from The RiordansGlenroe was broadcast, generally from September to May, each Sunday night at 8:30 pm. It was created, and written for much of its run, by Wesley Burrowes, and later by various other directors and producers including Paul Cusack, Alan Robinson and Tommy McCardle. Glenroe was the first show to be subtitled by RTÉ, with a broadcast in 1991 starting the station's subtitling policy.
