DavíðTómas Tómasson (born October 21,1988) is an Icelandic FIBA referee [1] [2] and a musician. [3]
In 2017,Davíðwas named an official FIBA referee. [1] In 2019,Davíðwas barred from refereeing ÍR's games during the Úrvalsdeild karla playoffs after he posted an Instagram picture of himself and ÍR player Matthías Orri Sigurðarson,alluding to their connection to the Vesturbær district in Reykjavík. [4] In 2023,he was named the Icelandic Basketball Referee of the Year. [5]
Davíðhas performed under the name Dabbi T since his late teenage years. [6] At the age of sixteen,he released his first single,Þröngar píkur (English:Tight Pussies). [7] In 2007 he released the rap album Óheflaðmálfar (English:Unrestricted Speech). [8] [9] He was a member of the group 32c along with EmmsjéGauti and Nagmús. [6] In 2017,Davíðreleased the album T,his first album in ten years. [10] [7]
Davíð's sister is basketball referee Georgía Olga Kristiansen. [11] On December 7,2017,they became the first siblings to officiate together a highest competitive tier game in Iceland. [12]
