Career

Dayoutoftheoffice's first race was on May 14, 2020 at Gulfstream Park, where she came in first.

On July 16, 2020, she won the Grade-3 Schuylerville Stakes. She defeated Make Mischief by 6th lengths at 19:1 odds. [2]

On October 10, 2020, she won her 3rd race in a row when she won the Grade-1 Frizette Stakes. She defeated the 4:5 favorite Vequist by 2 lengths at 2:1 odds. [3]

On November 6, 2020, she competed in the Grade-1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. While she had beaten Vequist in the prior race, Vequist defeated her by 2 lengths. [4] This time, she was victorious over Dayoutoftheoffice by 2 lengths after coming in as the 4th ranked favorite for the race. [1] [5]

Take Charge Lady is an American Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She was one of the leading fillies of her generation in the United States, winning 11 of her 22 races between April 2001 and November 2003, earning over $2 million. She recorded Grade I victories in the Ashland Stakes and consecutive editions of the Spinster Stakes, and also won the Alcibiades Stakes, Silverbulletday Stakes, Fair Grounds Oaks, Dogwood Stakes and Arlington Matron Stakes.

Take Charge Brandi is an American Thoroughbred racehorse. A descendant of the outstanding broodmare Take Charge Lady, she was one of the leading juvenile fillies in North America in 2014. After winning only one of her first five races she sprang a 66/1 upset when winning the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and followed up with victories in the Delta Princess Stakes and the Grade I Starlet Stakes. After winning a listed stakes race early in 2015, a bone chip in her knee, discovered prior to her anticipated start in the Rebel Stakes, took her out of contention for the Kentucky Oaks. Returning to the track in August 2015, following two lackluster performances, she was retired in September, 2015.

Countess Diana was an American Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. As a two-year-old in 1997, she dominated the juvenile fillies division in North America, winning five of her six races including the Schuylerville Stakes, Spinaway Stakes, Alcibiades Stakes and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. At the end of the year she was voted American Champion Two-Year-Old Filly and rated the best American two-year-old filly for more than fifty years. Her subsequent racing career was relatively disappointing: she failed to win in four starts in 1998 before winning two minor races in 1999. After her retirement from racing she had limited success as a broodmare and died in 2006.

Caressing was an American Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She won five of her eighteen races in a track career which lasted from July 2000 until November 2002. As a two-year-old she won two of her first four races before recording a 47/1 upset win in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies, which led to her being named American Champion Two-Year-Old Filly. In the spring of the following year she won the Santa Ysabel Stakes, Las Virgenes Stakes and the Santa Anita Oaks and returned from injury to win the Clark Handicap. She was retired after two unsuccessful races as a four-year-old.

She won the Edgewood Stakes and the Lake Placid Stakes in 2012 and went on to win the Churchill Distaff Turf Mile Stakes and the Just A Game Stakes in 2013. As a five-year-old in 2014 she won the Flower Bowl Invitational Stakes and finished second in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf. Heavenly Prize was a champion American Thoroughbred racehorse. She was a Grade I winner at ages two, three and four, and never finished out of the money. She was named the American Champion Three-Year-Old Filly of 1994 after winning the Alabama, Gazelle and Beldame Stakes, plus finishing second in the Breeders' Cup Distaff. Her four-year-old campaign was equally noteworthy, with wins in the Apple Blossom, Hempstead, Go for Wand and John A. Morris.
