Dcypha Productions (sometimes credited as Dcypha Records or simply just Dcypha) is a UK-based production group founded by Sway and established under Akon's Konvict Records. [1]
Sway established Dcypha Productions, in 2004, to enable him to release his mixtapes and debut solo album This Is My Demo. The first members of Dcypha Productions were Sway, Bigz and Pyrelli. Soon after Sway appointed DJ/Producer DJ Turkish and producer Shux to Dcypha Productions. Shux and Sway produced most of This Is My Demo which was critically received and reached the UK Top 100 and had two Top 50 Singles. Sway‘s second album The Signature LP was released in 2008 which was released under Akon’s Konvict Muzik. Sway signed Silverstone to his label as a producer shortly before the album’s release and he produced a track on the album. Silverstone is an accomplished producer amongst UK Hip-Hop and is talented with different instruments. Shortly after the album’s release Sway also signed the final member of Dcypha Productions in a young upcoming producer called Louis Gibzen.
Jermaine Alfred Denny,, known professionally as Red Café, is a Guyanese-American rapper. He formed the short-lived hip hop group Da Franchise in the late 1990s, who signed with the company Violator and saw local success before his departure in 2001. As a solo act, he signed three ineffective recording contracts with Trackmasters Entertainment, an imprint of Arista Records, Mack 10's Hoo-Bangin' Records, an imprint of Capitol Records, and Motown due to label disputes, company fallouts, and creative differences throughout the 2000s.
Derek Andrew Safo, better known by his stage name Sway or Sway DaSafo, is a British rapper of Ghanaian descent. He is also a producer, having established Dcypha Productions, signed to Island/Universal. Safo's 2008 track "Black Stars" gave appreciation to popular Ghanaians across the diaspora. Sway's first big track, "On My Own" was released under the name Sway DaSafo.

This Is My Demo is the debut album from British rapper Sway. It was released on 5 February 2006 and produced by Sway for Dcypha Productions. It consists mainly of R&B and British hip hop. The album was critically well received and spent two weeks on the chart, with a peak of number 78. The album was produced by Sway himself along with producers Joe Fields, Terror Danjah, Turkish, Bigz, Ramiz, Tamiz, Big E.D. and Al Shux who produced almost all of the songs, including the single Little Derek.

He is best known for his guest appearance on Lady Gaga's 2008 single "Just Dance", which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100, spent over 11 months on the chart, and received diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Due to label conflicts, Senegalese-American singer Akon was unable to perform on the song and subsequently enlisted O'Donis to do so; O'Donis was Lady Gaga's labelmate on Akon's KonLive Distribution label, to which he signed the year prior.

The single was released on 15 September 2008. It spent one week on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 67.

William Joseph Crawford, known by his stage name Ya Boy, is an American rapper from Fillmore District, California. He is best known for his 2011 single "Lock Down". The year prior, he signed with the latter's record label, Konvict Muzik, having first signed with San Quinn's Done Deal Entertainment to release his debut studio album, Rookie of the Year (2005). The following year, he signed with the Game's Black Wall Street Records, and later Mack 10's Hoo-Bangin' Records in 2009, although he released no albums with both labels.

The song originally appeared on their fifth studio album, The Invasion (2011), and was recorded shortly after P-Square signed a partnership deal with Akon's Konvict Muzik. The music video for "Chop My Money" was directed by Jude Engees Okoye and Ben Marc.
"Lamborghini" is the debut single by British YouTuber and rapper KSI. The song features a guest appearance from British rapper P Money. It was produced by DJ Turkish. The song was released for digital download and streaming on 23 March 2015 by Dcypha Productions as a standalone single. The song charted at number 30 in the United Kingdom and number 61 in Ireland. An accompanying music video was released on 25 March 2015. A remix to the song, titled Lambo Refuelled, was released on 8 January 2016 as a part of KSI's EP Keep Up featuring Sway, Scrufizzer and Youngs Teflon.

He signed a major label recording contract with Akon's Konvict Muzik, in a joint venture with Def Jam Recordings in 2009. The following year, he gained mainstream attention for his guest appearance alongside Jay-Z, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz, and RZA on Kanye West's 2010 song "So Appalled" from his album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010). He was then credited with extensive songwriting work on West's further releases, resulting in five Grammy Award nominations for Best Rap Song, as well as one additional nomination for his work on Travis Scott's 2018 single "Sicko Mode."

Konvict Kulture is a record label founded by Melvin Brown, Bu Thiam and R&B singer Akon in 2003 under the name Konvict Muzik. Artists including T-Pain, Kat DeLuna, Mali Music, Red Café, Dolla, Ya Boy, and Costa Titch have signed to and released singles or albums by the label. Heard at the beginning of many of the label's recordings, besides Akon's own production or songwriting contribution, is the sound of the clank of a jail cell, followed by Akon uttering "Konvict". In 2022, the label was rebranded into Konvict Kulture. By 2011, Fotemah Mba was appointed Vice President of A&R for the label.
