The de Carbon hydraulic shock absorber was invented in 1953, by Christian Bourcier de Carbon. [1] The De Carbon Company was also established in 1953; however, in 1997, Delphi gained control of the entire company. When BeijingWest Industries acquired the brakes and suspensions business of Delphi in 2009, BWI Group acquired the de Carbon brand. [2] Today, the shock absorbers are mainly sold as a key aftermarket brand in European countries.

Mobil is a petroleum brand owned and operated by American oil and gas corporation ExxonMobil. The brand was formerly owned and operated by an oil and gas corporation of the same name, which itself merged with Exxon to form ExxonMobil in 1999.
The unsprung mass of a vehicle is the mass of the suspension, wheels or tracks, and other components directly connected to them. This contrasts with the sprung mass supported by the suspension, which includes the body and other components within or attached to it. Components of the unsprung mass include the wheel axles, wheel bearings, wheel hubs, tires, and a portion of the weight of driveshafts, springs, shock absorbers, and suspension links. Brakes that are mounted inboard are part of a vehicle's sprung mass.
Suspension is the system of tires, tire air, springs, shock absorbers and linkages that connects a vehicle to its wheels and allows relative motion between the two. Suspension systems must support both road holding/handling and ride quality, which are at odds with each other. The tuning of suspensions involves finding the right compromise. It is important for the suspension to keep the road wheel in contact with the road surface as much as possible, because all the road or ground forces acting on the vehicle do so through the contact patches of the tires. The suspension also protects the vehicle itself and any cargo or luggage from damage and wear. The design of front and rear suspension of a car may be different.

BWI Group is an international supplier with manufacturing facilities located in China, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic and Mexico.
TVS Wego is a scooter manufactured by TVS Motor Company. It is a unisex, dual usage scooter and was introduced in 2010. After releasing several variants of TVS Scooty, the company entered the higher-end segment of the scooterette market by introducing Wego.
