De Hardheid is a Dutch skapunk band from Amsterdam composed of nine members. [1] The band was founded in 1996 and sings in Dutch. De Hardheid has released three studio albums and one EP. [2]

Contents

Although the band has been on sabbatical since 2009, they occasionally play reunion gigs. [3] De Hardheid has often played at poppodia [4] and other Dutch festivals, including performances in 2023. [5]

The band was influenced by bands like The Specials, Doe Maar, The Skatalites and the Dead Kennedys.

Ultra is a Dutch post-punk movement that originated in Amsterdam in the early 1980s. The name "ultra" is a shortening of "ultramodernen". The movement had an avantgarde, experimental, and artistic aesthetic. Many of its participants were students in art schools. Weesperplein is an underground metro station in the city centre of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Served by lines 51, 53 and 54 of the Amsterdam Metro, the station was constructed using caissons with a length and width of 40 metres (130 ft). The station has two floors, the upper floor featuring a station hall with stores and the lower floor containing the tracks. Construction at Weesperplein started in August 1970. The first test rides passed through the station in January 1977. Extensive tests were carried out in September that year before the station opened on 16 October.
