Dead by Dawn was an independent horror film festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. Established in 1993 by Adele Hartley, it was a festival showcasing mostly independent films. [1] [2] Dead by Dawn was a former member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (EFFFF) and occurred once a year, usually in mid-April. [3] It was presented as "UK’s longest running genre film festival", although there has been no festival since 2020. [4] [5] [6] [7]
