Dean Ebbe (born 16 July 1994) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a striker for League of Ireland First Division side Athlone Town.
After playing for Shamrock Rovers, Longford Town, Athlone Town, Cabinteely, Collinstown and Bluebell United, [1] [2] Ebbe signed for Scottish club Inverness Caledonian Thistle in January 2017. [2] [3] After leaving Inverness he returned to Bluebell United before signing for Welsh Premier League side The New Saints in January 2018. [4] He stayed with the club until the end of the 2021–22 season playing with them in Europe, and winning league and cup winners medals. [5]
In January 2022 he joined Bala Town on loan until the end of the season [6] He scored 11 goals in 15 appearances in all competitions during the loan spell. [1] leaving the club at completion of his loan spell. [7]
In June 2022 Ebbe signed for Crusaders. [8]
After one season, he moved to Gibraltar to reunite with former TNS coach Anthony Limbrick at Manchester 62. [9]
Ebbe returned to Ireland in January 2024, signing for a second spell at Athlone Town in the League of Ireland First Division. [1]
Crusaders
Ian James Rush is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is regarded as one of the best strikers of all time and one of the best Welsh players in the history of the sport. At club level Rush played for Liverpool from 1980 to 1987 and 1988–1996. Additionally, he is the club's all-time leading goalscorer, having scored a total of 346 goals in all competitions at the club. He also holds the records for being the highest goalscorer in the history of the EFL Cup and the finals of the FA Cup. At international level, Rush made 73 appearances for the Wales national football team and remained the record goalscorer with 28 goals between 1980 and 1996, until the record was broken by Gareth Bale in 2018.
Adam Christopher David Rooney is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a striker for National League North club Hereford, where he is also assistant manager. He previously played for Stoke City, spent spells on loan at Yeovil Town, Chesterfield and Bury, was a regular first-team member for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, and played for Birmingham City and had a loan spell at Swindon Town. He played for Oldham Athletic and spent four and a half seasons with Aberdeen before returning to England to sign for Salford City, with whom he gained promotion to the Football League. He returned to non-league football with Solihull Moors in 2020, and moved on to Stratford Town and then Brackley Town in 2022.
Dean Williams is an English former footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
