Deep Sea Supply is an international operator of offshore supply vessels. It operates nine anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS) and two platform supply vessels (PSV). 17 ships are under construction. The main office is located in Arendal, Norway though the company is officially headquartered in Cyprus and listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

History

Deep Sea Supply ASA was created in 2005 and listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange to build up a portfolio of North Sea and international operating supply vessels. The first acquisition was six AHTSs from Tidewater the same year, followed the next year by the purchase of an order of 22 newbuilding contracts from Sea Tankers Management. Two additional ships were also bought in 2006. The same year the Cyprus-registered company Deep Sea Supply Plc was created to move the companies assets from Norway to Cyprus. Deep Sea Supply is largely institutionally owned company that trades on the Oslo Bors. The largest owning interest in the company is Hemen Holdings. Hemen is a holding company that is owned by Norwegian Shipping Tycoon John Fredrikson.

In June 2017, Deep Sea Supply merged with Farstad Shipping and Solstad Offshore to create Solstad Farstad. [1]

BW Group Maritime company

BW Group is a leading global maritime company involved in shipping, floating infrastructure, deep-water oil & gas production, and new sustainable technologies. The company controls a fleet of over 420 vessels transporting oil, gas, and dry commodities, managed by an international team of over 9000 staff worldwide. Odfjell SE is a company specialising in worldwide seaborne transportation and storage of chemicals and other speciality bulk liquids. The Odfjell fleet comprises more than 80 ships in total. At time of the merger Smedvig operated two semi submersibles, one drillship and one jack up rig in the Norwegian and British sector of the North Sea. A fleet of seven tender rigs were operated in South East Asia from the Singaporean subsidiary Smedvig Asia. As part of the merger, Smedvig's staff was transferred to Seadrill with Smedvig senior personnel assuming key positions in Seadrill. Smedvig was delisted from the OSE and NYSE, while Seadrill is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Fred. Olsen Production is a Norwegian offshore floating production petroleum company. Founded in 2004, the company has its headquarters in Oslo, Norway and was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange from May 11, 2007 until January 20, 2014. The company's largest owners are Bonheur and Ganger Rolf through First Olsen, owning 61.5% of the company. The companies are controlled by the Olsen family. The firm has offices in Oslo; Houston, United States; Singapore; and Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Eitzen Group was a shipping and investment corporation based in Oslo, Norway. The parent company was Eitzen Holding AS and was entirely owned by the Eitzen family which owns Eitzen Invest and 53.7% of Camillo Eitzen & Co. The investment company owned a portfolio of real estate and other investments, including Hydranor and a major share of Norse Energy as well as in the fishing industry.

Including commercial managed and newbuilding ships the group has 136 vessels. The company is controlled by the Eitzen Group (53%), of which it used to be a part of up until 2004. It is based in Oslo, Norway and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Camillo Etizen & Co are also majority owners of Eitzen Chemical and Eitzen Maritime Services.

Solstad Offshore is a Norwegian offshore service and supply ship shipping company that operates 122 vessels and including 29 construction service vessels, 40 anchor handling tug supply vessels and 53 platform supply vessels. The company is based in Karmø

Eidesvik Offshore

Eidesvik Offshore is a supply, subsea, seismic and cable-laying shipping company. The fleet consists of ten supply ships, both platform supply vessels and anchor handling tug supply vessels, five subsea vessels, five seismic vessels and one cable-laying ship. All the ships are orange in color, and most of them have names starting with Viking. The company is based in Bømlo, Norway and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Two thirds of the company is owned by Kristian Eidesvik, who also controls the short sea shipping company Wilson.

Ezra Holdings Ltd, also known under their operating brand name of EMAS, is an integrated offshore support provider for the oil and gas industry. The business was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Singapore. Ezra was listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SESDAQ) and promoted to Mainboard on 8 December 2005.

EMAS is a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry and operating brand for Ezra Holdings. The business was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Singapore. It began in Asia Pacific in the maritime industry with a fleet of vessels. The company quickly expanded, listing EMAS on the Singapore stock exchange in 2003 and adding fabrication facilities in Vietnam. Over the next few years, EMAS added its construction and production division, listed EOC Limited on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2007 and created an energy division, offering onshore and offshore drilling and well services. In 2011, EMAS embarked on a highly strategic acquisition of Aker Marine Contractors, a subsea construction and installation technology group.

Teekay is one of the largest shipowners in the world. They specialise in crude oil, LNG and LPG tankers.
