The Sangre de Cristo Range, called the East Range locally in the San Luis Valley, is a high, rugged and narrow mountain range of the Rocky Mountains in southern Colorado in the United States, running north and south along the east side of the Rio Grande Rift. The mountains extend southeast from Poncha Pass for about 75 mi (121 km) through south-central Colorado to La Veta Pass, approximately 20 mi (32 km) west of Walsenburg, and form a high ridge separating the San Luis Valley on the west from the watershed of the Arkansas River on the east. The Sangre de Cristo Range rises over 7,000 ft (2,100 m) above the valleys and plains to the west and northeast.

The Fish Creek Mountains Wilderness is located about 25 miles west of Brawley, California, and southeast of the Vallecito Mountains in the United States. The wilderness is located in the Fish Creek Mountains region in the northern part of the Carrizo Impact Area, which is closed to the public.
The Cathedral Group is the group of the tallest mountains of the Teton Range, all of which are located in Grand Teton National Park in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The Cathedral Group are classic alpine peaks, with pyramidal shapes caused by glacial motion. The highest peak in the group is Grand Teton, which rises more than 7,000 feet (2,100 m) above Jackson Hole valley, and is the second tallest mountain in Wyoming, after Gannett Peak. The Cathedral Group is separated by other tall peaks of the range by the Cascade Canyon to the north and Avalanche Canyon to the south.
The Toquima Range is a mountain range, located primarily in Nye County with a small extension into Lander County, in Nevada, United States. Most of the range is included within the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The range reaches a maximum elevation of 11,949 feet at the southern summit of Mount Jefferson. From Hickison Summit on U.S. Route 50, the range runs for approximately 71 miles (115 km) to the south-southwest. To its west are Big Smoky Valley, scenic State Route 376, and the large Toiyabe Range. To the east are remote Monitor Valley and the Monitor Range. Lying to the south of the range are U.S. Route 6 (Nevada) and the community of Tonopah, while to the north is U.S. Route 50, leading to the small community of Austin.
Hart Mountain is a fault-block mountain, in Lake County, Oregon, U.S. It lies about 30 miles (48 km) to the east of Lakeview.
Mount Passaconaway is a mountain in the Sandwich Range Wilderness of the White Mountain National Forest near the eastern boundary of Waterville Valley. It is named after Passaconaway, a 16th-century sachem of the Pennacook tribe, whose name was also attached to a small village in Albany, where the northern trailhead is now located.
The Salt River Range is a mountain range in western Wyoming. The 56 mile long range forms the eastern boundary of Star Valley as well as the western boundary of the Greys River valley. The highest point is Mount Fitzpatrick at 10,907 feet (3,324 m).

Mica Peak is the name of two separate mountain summits in the United States located approximately 5.49 miles (9 km) apart; one in Spokane County, Washington and the other in Kootenai County, Idaho. The two peaks are located along the same ridge, which separates the Spokane Valley and Rathdrum Prairie from the Palouse. The mountains have an elevation difference of only 31 ft (9.4 m) and are the southernmost peaks of the Selkirk Mountains.
Mount Tremont, elevation 3,371 feet (1,027 m), is a mountain in Carroll and Grafton counties in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It stands southwest of the town of Bartlett and directly south of Crawford Notch. It is flanked to the east by Bartlett Haystack mountain, to the northwest by the Sawyer River valley, and to the northeast by the Saco River valley. The mountain is crossed by the Brunel and Mount Tremont trails.
Deerhorn is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It is about 4 miles (6 km) west of Leaburg on Oregon Route 126 in the McKenzie River valley.
The Mountain Empire is a rural area in southeastern San Diego County, California. The Mountain Empire subregion consists of the backcountry communities in southeastern San Diego County. The area is also sometimes considered part of the East County region of San Diego County.
Temescal Mountains, formerly the Sierra Temescal, are one of the northernmost mountain ranges of the Peninsular Ranges in western Riverside County, in Southern California in the United States. They extend for approximately 25 mi (40 km) southeast of the Santa Ana River east of the Elsinore Fault Zone to the Temecula Basin and form the western edge of the Perris Block.
La Sierra Heights, La Sierra Hills, and Norco Hills are informal names for the northernmost section of the range known as the Temescal Mountains, located in northwestern Riverside County, California. The section begins on the south bank of the Santa Ana River and extends southward between the valleys occupied by the City of Riverside to the east and the Cities of Norco and Corona to the west. A gap or portezuela connects these valleys and separates this range from Arlington Mountain and the balance of the range to the south.
The Carrizo Badlands are a landform of badlands that lie within Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in eastern San Diego County, and in the Carrizo Impact Area in western Imperial County, in southern California.
The Sevenmile Mountains are a mountain range in central Gila County in the U.S. state of Arizona. The range has a maximum elevation of 6,629 ft (2,021 m) and a prominence of 989 ft (301 m). The unnamed peak has a topographic isolation of 13.35 miles. The majority of the southern end of the range is located on the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation. While the high point and the northern tip of the range is in the Tonto National Forest and is open to free range hiking. The mountains' high point is located just 3 miles east from a section of the U.S. Route 60 in Arizona in between Globe, Arizona and Show Low, Arizona. The southern end of the range that is inside the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation should only be hiked with permission from the Reservation. The range is one of many that occur in the Arizona transition zone.
The Blackjack Mountains are a mountain range located in Gila County, Arizona. They have a maximum elevation of 6,942 ft (2,116 m) at Apache Peaks and a prominence of 2,580 ft (790 m). The peak has a topographic isolation of 17.88 miles, with the nearest higher peak lying to the south in the Pinal Mountains. The Blackjack mountains are located within the Tonto National Forest and are north of Globe, Arizona. The high point of the range, Apache Peaks, is ranked 36th in prominence for Arizona's most prominent peaks.
Deerhorn Mountain is a 13,264-foot (4,043 m) peak in the Sierra Nevada in Tulare County, California. It is located along the Kings-Kern Divide in the southern part of Kings Canyon National Park.
