The Delaware State Hornets women's basketball team is the basketball team that represents Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
Delaware State began play in 1976. They have won one regular season title (2004) and one tournament title (2007). In their first NCAA tournament, they lost to Vanderbilt 62–47 in the First Round. [2]
In the 2021–22 season, the team went winless for the first time in program history, finishing with an 0–24 overall record. [3]

The Kent State Golden Flashes are the athletic teams that represent Kent State University. Before moving to Kansas, he served as women's basketball head coach from 2013–2018 at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, having been retained when his former institution, the University of Texas–Pan American (UTPA), merged with the University of Texas at Brownsville. Prior to this position, he was head coach of the Lamar Lady Cardinals basketball team for six seasons from 2007–2013, as well as the Lamar athletics director from June 2010 to May 2011.
The Shawnee State Bears are the athletic teams that represent Shawnee State University, located in Portsmouth, Ohio, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the River States Conference (RSC). The Bears joined the RSC in 2023 after 13 years in the Mid-South Conference (MSC). They finished the season 32–4, 18-0 CAA play to finish in first place for the second consecutive season. They won the 2013 CAA Women's Basketball Tournament for the second year in a row, defeating Drexel once again in the finals. A #6 seed in the Bridgeport region of the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, the Blue Hens defeated West Virginia and North Carolina at home to advance to their first ever Sweet Sixteen, where they fell to Kentucky.
The 2011–12 Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens women's basketball team represents the University of Delaware during the 2011–12 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Fightin' Blue Hens, led by sixteenth year head coach Tina Martin, played their home games at the Bob Carpenter Center and were members of the Colonial Athletic Association. They finished the season 31–2, going 18-0 in CAA play to win their second CAA regular season championship. They won the 2012 CAA Women's Basketball Tournament, defeating Drexel in the finals to win their first CAA title. A #3 seed in the Des Moines region of the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, the Blue Hens defeated #14 seed Arkansas-Little Rock for the first Delaware NCAA Basketball tournament win, men's or women's, before falling to #11 seed Kansas in the second round.

The Fightin' Blue Hens, led by first year head coach Natasha Adair, played their home games at the Bob Carpenter Center and were members of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). They finished the season 19–13, 11–7 CAA play to finish in fourth place. They advanced to the semifinals of the CAA women's tournament, where they lost to Drexel. They received an at-large to the Women's National Invitation Tournament, where they lost in the first round to Georgetown.
The 2018–19 Vanderbilt Commodores men's basketball team represented Vanderbilt University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were coached by Bryce Drew in his third season at Vanderbilt. The Commodores played their home games at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, Tennessee as members of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 9–23, 0–18 to finish in last place in SEC play. They were the first SEC team to go winless in a season since the 1954 Georgia Tech team, and the first team ever in the 18-game conference schedule. They lost in the first round of the SEC tournament to Texas A&M.
